Hi there people!
I'm a bit irritated right now. I'm just trying to form the kingdom of Andalusia, starting from the duchy of Cadiz and I'm doing pretty well, always preying on my neighbours when they start another war. I already have the duchies/emirates of Seville and Badajoz and just conquered the last county for the duchy of Granada when something strange happend:
I ursurped the title, gave my courtiers the landed titles and one of them the duchy. Two months later I suddenly get the message that the Almoravid Sultan ursurped the title of Duke of Granada. I take a look and confirm that he controls the duchy and all the counts in it and my brother, the former Duke of Granada, is now holding a simple barony in Granada and is the vassal of the Sultan too!
How did he do it? He wasn't in control of 50% of the counties. He owned nothing in the duchy. I'm confused how he was able to take 1/3 of my holdings and making my counts and brother his vassal, without fulfilling any criteria that would allow him just that? Am I forgetting a game mechanic?
