AI turkey never becomes ottoman?

i know they would have to choose democrat in their election focus, but they never do, they always go republican, and i know they have the democrats (theyre ruling the damn country already!), so does the AI never chooses democrat? or is it just a very small chance?

its off, everything is on default

With historic off, and defaults selected, it depends how much weight is given to each potential branch of the focus tree.

I haven't checked, but would guess that the Ottoman branch would be weighted as not very likely.

the weight for voting democrat is 10, while republican is 30, so if thats a 1 in 4 chance, that i have savescummed dozens of times means it shouldve happened at least once, but still hasnt

I saw it. They went into civil war and later tried form Ottomans but were wiped out.

Kind of odd if the Ottomans are a 1/4 chance, but the Kaisereich is less than 1%...

the 1/4 is to vote for the democrat party in their electino focus, not sure what the chance is for them to choose the path that leads to ottoman revival is.
