In most cases AI lack the ability to stay up in the course of war and it somehow its whole military got stucked doing nothing useful.

This applies at most to countries like US, UK, Germany, Italy and Japan, who needs to deal the more complex Tasks.

Examples like:
-Germany winning the war with Russia or not fighting the war at Rusia, but getting stucked in Afrikan Balkan wars, while you can see England borders really unprotected, a player might take chance of this, but the AI doesn't.
Also Germany lacks the ability to help their allies, as in real history for example the DAK, unless their allies war is in their borders.

-US sometimes manage to keep their Number 1 in the world fleet in ports while 3rd or 4th in the world fleet of Japan strikes em bad, this mostly happen in a later stage between Japan-US War, most of the times this happened to me playing Japan and Invading Victoria Isle, then Canada.

-Uk-US most of the time don't do a well planned AIR-LAND-SEA invasion of Fortress europa, watching dozens of Allied Divisions being wiped out at ease with German Forces.

-Once italy losses North Africa colonies, it will never try to get it back, no matter if there is no Defenses in there, and they possibly can, im my Germany games i always annex all up to Greece or even Suez, just to be able to take Suez somehow so Italy can go over Africa, and no matter what i do, to be able to Italy AI to reactivate somehow, i have most of the times to take control of em and make them get Ethiopy.

-Japan usually get totally stucked if US win the first strikes of the Pacific War, they don't usually defend Japan accordingly, they don't move their troops in China, they don't build more transports, so their whole military collapses.
Right now, the Kwantung Army thing is helping em out a bit, but still there is a lot work to do.

In general AI switching fails to cover all the required tasks for the AI, leaving the players many options to take chance of em.
Maybe more AI switches are needed.

What are the TRP plans to solve this problems?

Some of this things are improved in TRP, but not enough as they should i guess.

Well if i can do something to test AI behavior for you guys or anything else, let me know.

TRP uses the 1.2 AI. I am currently working on the 1.3 AI and when that is released we are going to plug in and use that AI with the TRP mod. I am working on allot of this stuff but it taks time and as I stated many many times it would take 1 or 2 years before we had a solid AI.

Hey Lothos

If your still involved in making the Vanilla AI i will suggest you took a look on the switch files.

There are several of them that has build section something else as 100. The worst example i have sofar seen is "eng_build_standard.ai" switch file which has military build section at 93. Armageddon 1.1 version, So i gues it is the same in Doomsday 1.3a. Other regular & switch files i have sofar seen to be wrong is CHI_Isolationist.ai, CHI_WAR_Japan.ai, spr_Civilwar.ai, SP_EndCivilWar, SPR_1939.ai, SPA_1936.ai, spa_1939.ai, spa_1945.ai they are all at 102. except one of the spanish switches it has buildsection at 99. I dont know how big an issue this is :confused: Just wanted to bring it to your attention.
