hi again, i have a technical question about ai and switching files.

I was reading and i want to be sure.

  1. When games load a files like "AUS_1960.ai" it overwrite all fields. Also overwrite non contained variables (or modifers) with default, or mantein previus ai-file values?
  2. when swith an ai-file by event, and you set and field as "
    # Country tags listed with a value specifying how much we want to destroy them.
    combat = {
    ENG = 60
    FRA = 70"
these values are added to previus or the overwrite it (clear old values until get new values)?

if you want the USA ai to fight GER, then you could write an ai file with this:

combat = {
GER = 100
}

save it to the AI/switch folder, call it xxxx.ai

then call it by event:
command = { type = war which = GER }
command = { type = ai which = "switch/xxxx.ai" }

The USA will now start a war with GER and use that ai to fight them.

By far the best way to learn how to use the ai, is to go look at AI files.
