Look guys, its been brought a number of times - the ai needs to peace out earlier.
First of all, its very unfun for the player to wait ten years for a peace timer to tick for an ai ally. Its boring, and annoying.
Secondly, its poor play on the part of the ai. Why wait the ten years when you can peace out earlier and get the peace treaty timer ticking sooner, and start another war ten years earlier? A player wouldn't do this. Why make the ai do it?
Thirdly, the majority of the time when the ai is letting the score tick up, the peace deal ends up including some portions that just do not justify the wait for the score. 'You mean I waited ten years so that Serbia could force Otto to release that one extra province in the middle of nowhere?? What the hey??'
The absurdity needs to end. The issue is glaring. Is this really how you want the ai to behave?
