AI should get Break Truce penalty just like players do...

I'm going to guess that the OP didn't realize v1.6 made it so that defensive CTA bypass truces and don't count as "truce breaks".

Defensive CTAs always bypassed truces, AI was just miscalculating them as truce breaks.

I'm going to guess that the OP didn't realize v1.6 made it so that defensive CTA bypass truces and don't count as "truce breaks".

The rule on defensive calls bypassing truces didn't change, it has always been the case that answering defensive calls doesn't trigger a truce breaker penalty. What changed is the ai was reminded of the fact after somehow forgetting it earlier in the game's development.

I can understand some of the cheats the AI is allowed but this is pathetic... Just as how the AI can get peasants wars, weak heirs, regency, they should also get the stability drop for breaking truce.

Did you mean the AI "can't" get peasants wars, et al? I mean they can and do. I see the pop ups all the time. And they often get weak heirs and regencies as well. Unless you're talking about lucky nations. In which case, yes that is some cheating BS. As is the ability for the AI to ignore naval attrition. Annoying to have Great Britain roll their whole navy to come attack me in the Black Sea (I sunk that shiz anyways with my mighty galley fleet).

I don't mind the AI Naval Attrition cheat.

I wish they could figure out how to program the AI to deal with attrition, but it's better that they actually have a navy than letting the AI sail around with 35% boats all the time.

Since they can't figure out how to make the AI smarter about it, the zero attrition mechanic works for me.

Can the current priority be naval AI? It seems like a popular choice around the forums for improvement. :) Particularly how to build, use and sustain transports, and also how to block/pass through straits.

Yeah, it's a current high priority area, especially AI sea transport of troops.
