This is getting ridiculous in my game. I need to either get an affirmation that it is bugged from someone experiencing the event or that something is wrong in my game.
Lets start:
AI rebellion pops (calling them synths from now on, to not confuse them with AI players), and I go woop, end game event. Pretty far away, about 1/4 of the spiral length away from me, so I'm not too concerned.
After a while I see a synth fleet coming down with funky looking ships, 21k strength. I intercept them with my 24k and I start loosing. Luckily, my other 24k stack gets there, and I wipe them with minimal about 6k lost. I go and recoup my loses, expecting more synth "scouting" parties to come along.
Except that was the highpoint of the end game event. Since then I have literally attacked any synth planet in my range, wiped them out and even warred a federation and a large alliance to get to their homeworld, due to the AI not allowing me to get military access. I conquered their homeworld, conquered a bunch of their planets, and I have not seen a single synth ship. Not 1.
To add insult to injury, the AI is completely and utterly oblivious to this revolt. They keep building robots, droids and synths that keep rising up and keep conquering planets. The synths in turn do nothing but pox up the galaxy in their red colour. They "conquer" planets by revolting, and they build absolutely nothing. No mines, no ships, no stations.
Finally, due to a bug already posted, if the synths are the last on a planet and i don't press that embark all button fast enough my army is stuck forever until someone colonizes that planet again.
Please, please overhaul this event or tell me that it is bugged. I can not see a logical reason why AI would keep building synths, robots and droids when the event is going on. I don't see a logical reason why the AI is not taking back any of the planets. The AI and the synths are effectively working together to make the galaxy the most easily conquerable (due to no ships) and most boring experience (due to just going from planet to planet, bombing, landing, rinse and repeat).
