Not sure if this would belong more with mods but would it be possible to get AI nations to focus first on internal affairs before looking to expand? The rare times where lithuania stays alive it seems like they feel the need to colonize the hordes even while they are half occupied by rebels. Same thing with minting, if the AI wasn't so concerned about conquering places they wouldn't need to have such large armies and mint so much.
