I've seen what the EU4 AI gets compared to human players, but what differences does Vicky2 AI have with human players? I apologize if there was a thread about this before, I tried looking. And if there is, I'd appreciate a link.

The biggest one is that the AI will always give itself Military Access. Even if the countries involved hate each other, even if it is one of your puppets giving military access to one of your enemies so they can invade you. It leads to some ridiculous stuff, like Spain marching all the way across Europe, through the Ottoman Empire, through Egypt, and through Ethiopia so the Spanish can occupy one of your colonial states.
And AI ships never seem to suffer from attrition, but that could be the Military Access thing again, guaranteeing they're never out of range of a friendly port.

Paradox's AIs never suffer from naval attrition, because they haven't got round to making the AI cope with naval attrition in such a way that it will conduct sensible beyond-supply-range operations without sinking its fleets.

Or like when I fought the Chinese in the Rhineland.

I guess the two fronts in Korea and Indochina were not large enough for them. :p

So yeah, the AI is certainly lacking. EU4 is better.
