AI not building reactors and rocket research

I guess this is not realy a bug but more the hoi 2 engine. But I thought I mentioned it anyway. Got save if need(1950 as USA in-36 campaign)

In my games too but its me who play as USA in those cases. ;O)
Good to know that USA (AI) do it. That means the other majors could do it too I hope. I mean especially if they do the research.

Of course they could but they did not in the 36-45 timeline.
Only Soviet and German AI is also instructed to investigate nuclear technologies.

I've seen USSR to use nukes too (poor Japan)

In another game Germany started building reactors in Berlin, but this made the city primary Allied target for bombers (and nukes) so they never produced a single nuke in that game.

Isn't that a problem ? I mean if one country can nuke the other country's reactor...they'd be never able to build any nuke.
