I am in an alliance with about 5 AIs. One of my allies wants to go to war every month, all the AIs agree. They demand 3 systems for themselves, and nothing for me or the other AIs. Therefore I decline.
One time I got curious. I do the same. Same 3 systems. Everyone declines. Fuck you "allies"!
Next month, they ask for the same war again. forever.
I wanted to play peacefully alliance builder. That means I can't go to to federation (which by the way, they too ask every month), everyone would start their dumb private wars all the time, that's not the goal of my alliance. leave my alliance if you want war, dumb AI!
Every month they ask for one of my rivals to join. Those are warmongers and xenophobes. They don't fit our alliance of federation builders and pacifistic empires. If I vote yes as the AIs do, the newly added member will leave immediately at the start of the next month. As will the first member who ever joined the alliance with me, simulataneausly. Dumb AI, don't vote yes if that is not what you want.
All the AIs agree. So I get asked to:
- go to war
- join asshole to alliance
- make federation
EVERY MONTH THAT'S 6 BLINKING DOTS ON THE TOP OF THE SCREEN. WHY DO THEY BLINK? IT'S SO DISTRACTING, NOTHING ELSE EVER BLINKS SO ANNOYING!
If I exit the alliance, i'm not an alliance builder anymore. Next time I want to play xenophobic race purger. The AI made me do it.
