Playing Byzantium.
I spent 3500 prestige (ya that took 25 years to accumulate at 12 per month) and grabbed the title King of Hungry.
The King of Hungry has 1 demesne.
March 10000 troops directly to the Hungarian capital and take it.
Ask for peace and directly become King of Hungry. All Hungrian Dukes and Counts become my vassals (this is a good thing otherwise no one would spend that 3500 prestige). That's like 40 provinces.
I think that Kings should not give up their title just become their demesnes are taken. They can easily go to another province! Kings should fight until all his vassals' armies have been defeated before giving up the title. Otherwise, conquering large kingdoms become too easy.
PS: ie say King of Hungry was able to mobilize a total of 23000 men with his vassals, he should only give up his title when all his demesnes (in this case just 1) are occupied and when there are only less than 10% of that initial army of 23000 remaining.
