In my most recent Soviet game I was in a brutal slog across Germany and the Balkans. I was on decent terms with the allies but they were contributing almost nothing to the war in Europe. I figured they would at least be willing to help me out with material support. Britain was willing and would agree to modest numbers of equipment but within 24 hours they would cancel. Same would happen for USA when they finally agreed to help.
I repeated this a dozen or more times over several years in the game trying to get it to stick. Cancelled every time within 24 hours.
