My problem is simple. When a slave is put on the market, he is instantly bought. The player simply does not have the opportunity to buy a slave, as the AI makes it faster. Buying robots is a little slower process, but it still happens too quickly.

Has anyone met this problem?

Getting constant pings telling me my species is on the slave market, never anything there. Bit annoying.

Many threads about this.

In all of them I propose the same, I’ll do so here as well:

1) The seller posts up a slave pop for sale - this pop is now in an “escrow”. Trade cannot be cancelled by seller for 1 month.

2) There’s a bidding system:
Next to the slave pop there’s a button displaying the current pot.

3) After 1 month, the highest bidder gets the pop. If no bids, sale continues as normal, first bid gets the pop. Essentially same as now.

The problem is that for the computer "as soon as it can" means milliseconds after an offer is listed
Yup. I put the game on normal speed and just stared at the slave market with my fingers on the pause button. As soon as a slave popped up it was gone before I could press pause. I might be old and my reflexes a bit slower, but not that slow damn it lol

On the upside, the AI bought every slave I put on the market just as fast.

I'm fine with the AI buying slaves, it shouldn't be a player only thing, that would feel more like cheating. But the player should have a chance.
