You call that opportunistic? They are bloodhounds!!
It's like playing MP - one guy goes down and then get's DOWed from everywhere. In 1438, the Ottomans were DOWed by ENG, FRA, ARA, CAS and several minors, once they were at 15 WE, the Timurids, Mameluks and Quar-whatever joined in. In the end the Ottomans had to release Naxos, Achea, The Knights, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia and 5 muslim Minors - Candar was released as a 5-province state...
As for me, I played NAP and had some sort of rebel problem, when suddenly FRA, ENG, ARA and MIL decided it would be a good idea to "help me out". The first time I ceased provinces even before the war reached my country!
But, I have to say, I like the new system, it feels much more "historic" and blobbing is much harder. As it is now, I have almost equal power setups with CAS <-> ARA, FRA <-> BUR, AUS <-> HUN <-> BOH, while ENG collapsed and freed IRE (!) and SCO...
Edit: LOLZ! The big blue blob got excommunicated by SWE and ends up in a war against ENG, BUR and 5 german minors... Ouch!
