AI in holiday spirit

Seems like the AI currently is full on giving gifts.

All the time I get trade offers with energy and minerals from the AI without them wanting anything in return.
I can develop full planets with the sum I get over a few decades.

Anyone else has this "problem"?

That was added a few patches ago, if the AI wants better relations with you it'll give you stuff.

Edit: Also maybe if they're scared of you.

Maybe they normally don't like you, the AIs usually always hates me.

It often happens to me after I give the AI a gift myself. It feels like a nice exchange of pleasantries.
