No need to be sarcastic here.
I called this an old HOI2 "bug" to let NiL_FisK|Urd know that it was not WAD.
It has to do with the code, indeed, not the external files.
And as you guessed, there is nothing I can do to help in that regard, sorry.

No problem Fernando, but I was just guessing if you could give a hint on how to get rid of this bug - unfortunately, it turned out it was a hard coded issue, something I didn't know when I first replied. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Has gunman fully taken over AOD development? I know the previous AOD devs did not want to cooperate with other HOI teams but perhaps he would be willing to (if he has the right to). Both games could benefit from hints on how the other fixed obvious issues like this one. At least that has always been my philosophy (even if it never came into effect)..

I added a series of 100 AA Batteries to the startup build, and the AI ignores the "max_AA_level = 5" command. Wilhelmshaven and Münster have 10 AA batteries now.

Is this with the latest patch and unmodded? I thought I addressed it some time ago:

Don't have the code at hand, but IIRC AI checks max_AA_level when starting a new build on his own, not when having to to place a predefined series.

Ok, that is why it does not work. I thought that the AI also used the same settings when deploying a non-defined serial.
