I couldn't find a similar post on the subforum so I decided to create one.
Although I'm not sure if it's in any way related to ones hardware I've added a dxdiag file.

Playing on Ironman
Gameversion EU4 v1.23.0.0 Persia (1b5e)

In serveral campaigns I've ran into the issue where the Ottomans go completely idle and just eat attrition.
It's easy to win wars this way but it doesn't allow for a fun experience.
Example down below.

I don't know why this is happening so hopefully these save files can be of use.
On a side note the Ottoman AI had gone idle some time prior to the dates the save files.
If any additional information is required please let me know.

Kind regards,
Drowned.

The force limits seem pretty crazy in my recent games and I don't know if that has to do something with it but I observed similar issues with all countries that have a very large army. They seem to "forget" about some stacks and just leave them somewhere for a few years. Russia had 50k in a mountain province in the middle of my territory, Ottomans had 100k in my vassals territory while fighting multiple wars somewhere completely else.

Ottomans probably don't even care about 5% attrition because their army is nearly 100% mercs...

I had this problem popping up with France, my ally, having a 60k stack on Provence (the province) eating attrition every time winter came around or when they split the stack (they had a general with some maneuver) which I think stayed there for about 4-6 years, if not longer. Also, I saw people finishing wars and then park armies in territories where they had military acces, but not even try to bring the troops home and thus suffer a diplo-relation slot negative, sometimes even 2 or 3 at a time.

I think this might be a bug of sorts...

I admit it's pretty funny that the AI will start wars and promptly get its ass kicked, but it's frustrating when it's your ally. It seems the part of the AI that decides whether to declare war doesn't communicate at all with the part of the AI that controls the armies, leading to situations like this where 90% of France's army is off overseas somewhere.

Yes, noticing during AI colonization, they put 50-75% of their regiments in one province to protect against 1k natives with level 2 ferocity. With that low level, 1:3 odds is still quite manageable, no need to have 20:1. When I as ENG went to war with FRA in early 17th century, I stumbled across a French colony off of the Gold Coast in West Africa, housing their entire army on an isolated island with little to no navy. Needless to say, they lost that war.
