I must have missed something, but will we have AI files in EU:Rome? As they're coming back in EU3: In Nomine... This would ease some worries I have after reading - overall great - AARs. Main problems I smell after these readings are:
- AI behaviour when it comes to peace treaties. We can see nations giving away provinces in a manner leaving them with many regions without connection to main territory. There is often no logic in...
- Totally random and often illogical expansion. I have yet to see an AAR in which Rome does something reasonable. Pushing into Gaul and Atlantic coast without securing even the closest neibourhood - Cisalpine Gaul?
Having EU:ROME without any sensible Rome would be quite disappointing. Having modable AI file would give us at least some means to teach AI what to do.
One more thing. I totally dislike an idea of starting a certain scenario and having all nations without at least some pre-chosed national ideas. NIs should reflect development of culture, social relations, mentality throughout ages (and changing current ones should be payed with dramatic stability hits). Not to say it would make nations differ one from another (something EU3 heavily lacks). And now I hear I can jump into action at whatever date and totally custom my nation's ideas on day 1 just like that.
