AI file...why are there 2 of them?

Why are there 2 folders for AI files?

There is one just inside the Paradox Interactive folder...and then another one just inside the Doomsday folder...

Which one does the game (Armageddon) use?

I have actually 4 folders for AI files...

It is a bit confusing...I actually have a whole whopping 4 folders for the AI files.:


A) C:\Programmer\Paradox Interactive\ai

B) C:\Programmer\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday\ai

C) C:\Programmer\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday\Doomsday\ai

D) C:\Programmer\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron 2\ai


I am rather convinced that option B is the right folder if I want to fiddle with the AI files for HOI2DD Armageddon...
Also option B is a subfolder in the same main folder as the HOI.exe tab.

Am I correct in that assumption?

Did you make multiple installs ?

I think I accidently installed Borsooks altered naval brigade alteration 3 or 4 times...I suspect this may have caused an extra AI folder or two.

Of course I have also used various phases of the game...I have gone through HOI1, HOI2, HOI2DD...and now finally I use HOI2DD Armageddon.

I think I have nailed the right AI folder for HOI2DD Armageddon...it is option B.
I altered some building priorities for Argentina...started and a bit later saved a game as Belgium...reloaded as Argentina...and voila Argentina was building the CA's I delibaretely set its building priorities to.
