Ai event

I was playing as the usa and wanted to not join the allies but instead just take out japan and germany by myself, after waiting for germany and japan to completely wipe the uk and rest of allies out...but for some reason mid way through the game an ai event fired forcing me to ally with UK...An ai event also fired earlier telling me to build a strategic bomber which i just canceled not thinking anything of it...but having to join the allies kinda ruined that whole game for me

has this happened to anybody else? and i was playing arma with the most recent patch along with daim.

Which patch? 1.2 or 1.3beta2? DAIM surely is the reason for that odd behaviour. Maybe that DAIM version is not compatible with your Arma patch or you did something wrong when installing it.

Surely AI events shouldn't fire for a human player. Ask in the DAIM forum, as it is 100% sure a DAIM issue.
