ai error

when i load the scenario, i get an error message:
--- ERROR : (ai-prefs : Unexpected filed) 'influence = { 'line = 12 file = ai\belgium.ai ---

i get that message 3 times (with holand and denmark) and then, CTD.
what should i do?

I think you've been editing files wrong.. becuase none of that happened to me.

Initial guess: you uninstalled HOI, reinstalled it and applied C.O.R.E. without installing the 1.03b patch. This causes errors because new AI parameters (introduced in later patches) are used by C.O.R.E. AI files.

Is this a clean install of HOI + 1.03b patch + C.O.R.E. (in that order)? Which language versions are you using (HOI base game and C.O.R.E. download)? I've only used the original English distro but that certainly installs and starts with no errors.
