I am playing a cursed game as Brittany (pretty much everything went wrong - but I want to persevere with it). My only colonial nation gets declared on by the Iroquois and actually manage to lose. Seeing this, I enforce peace on Iroquois, who refuse. A month later Great Britain declares war on me, and all my allies refuse the defensive call to arms (even though I made sure all my allies were healthy with debt, etc). Sensing something off, I tag switched to GBR and modeled the situation. It appears that once Brittany enforces peace in the colonial war, it becomes free game for anyone to declare war on me because all my allies get the -1000 modifier for "Doesn't want to get involved in escalated colonial war" and dishonor the defensive call to arms. Is this a bug? Why does my colonial war matter for *defensive* CtA? And if it is not a bug, what can I do to defend my colonial nation that doesn't expose me to anyone and their mom yolo DoWing me because all of a sudden my whole alliance block doesn't care about me anymone since I am fighting some Iroquios tribes out in North America?
