Hi everyone! :D

I've noticed that the AI builds very differently from human players.

- They build a ton of conscription centers. I think that's rarely viable. Personally, I rarely am at army limit anyway.
- They love the new coastal forts (I don't recall how they're called at the moment), but are they really this useful? I mean, they cost as much as a proper manifactury.
- They rarely build manufacturies. Maybe they don't have enough building slots. Do they consider the trade boost from building the manifactury?
- They raraly build furnaces. I think they should even attempt to spawn enlightment by developing that province. it's unacceptable that they don't want the extra furnace when all they have to do is to delete something useless.
- Poor forts management. A human player would choose the best locations to build a few strong forts (at their borders, on mountains, hills, marshes etc.).
- Developing: why doesn't the AI develop its land in sets of ten, to free up one more building slot?
- They never destroy useless buildings, even if they would need something better there.
- When they want to convert a province, they don't build cathedrals.

I hope you'll find these suggestions useful,
have a nice day! :)

I'd also like something like "AI always leaves one building slot free" rule. It's VERY, VERY tiring when you need to destroy 40 buildings because you need to lower gov capacity cost of provinces...

That would be a pretty big limitation on the AI.... also when u are at a point where you're deleting dozens of buildings to increase your gov capacity, do you really care that much about the maluses of being over the limit? My thought is that when you are big enough to not care about things like gold and AE, you can also ignore gov. capacity.

The AI's building plans should not be based around the convenience of the player. In fact, that is basically the opposite of the what the AI should be doing.

The coastal forts are actually very strong. Absolutely ruin countries without good base of sailors.
I think they're the most useless building in the game, and AI builds them just because they're unlocked early, and they don't like to have unused building slots.
I have to check everytime I conquer a province or annex a vassal if they have built it.

The only case in which they make sense, is for roleplay purpose in countries like Cyprus or The Knights, or New Providence.
But if you have, let's say, all Africa, what's the probability your whole costs will be often sieged? Why don't just attack those navies with your own?
I think docks and a higher ships limit are much more useful.
