Recently I played a materialist empire and was happily replacing the fleshbags with Androids. I had about 50% of my pops as Androids. I lost a war to a nearby spiritualist who promptly forced me to disassemble fully half of my empire for a paltry 20 warscore with the "AI Ban" wargoal. Is this WAD?
I have two potential suggestions:
1. The wargoal cost should scale with the proportion of your population that is synthetic. Something along the lines of 10 base warscore + 2 * % synthetic. This would allow neighbors to halt AI research if they act early enough, but not allow them to dismantle a huge portion of your empire unless they really get a lot of warscore against you.
2. Or modify the "AI Ban" so that it prevents the construction of NEW robots, and add a much more expensive "AI Dismantle" option that will actually dismantle robot pops on a planet that would be similar to the "Purge Planet" wargoal
