Somebody said that if you got a dvd copy, you can put a non steam game into steam and purchase a add-on via steam. Is that true? has anyone tested that?

topbar now shows infamy, so you dont have to keep opening the diplo screen.

Wait... let me see if I understand this correctly..... If it hadn't been delayed, you would have decided not to add this in a patch?
Of course customers have the right to complain if the game is buggy. It is my personal opinion than a delay of 1 week is probably 1 week less for the game to reach an "enjoyable for most" state (which usually happens after the first one or two patches). So, from my point of view, the delay isn't really important for people who want to play (and enjoy) the vanilla version/
Of course, releasing the game earlier would give modders more time to adjust their work to the expansion.
IMO one week of realease just means one week of people speculating, expecting new things, some complaining and some other defending why the delayment happened (with no idea, of course)

"Frogger" was released bug-free in 1981 if I remember correct
I think its fair to say that AHD is a more complex game than Frogger.
Interesting. I'd argue, though, that the reason it's often not until after the first patch or two that the game is really solid (in your example, idk how AHD will be) is because it's not until the game is released that you have tens of thousands of hands on the game. With any game, there are just things that won't come up in beta testing, because the sample size is so much smaller. Release it to the masses, and every bug in the game is experienced by somebody and reported. It takes these reports to make a proper patch.
The week delay just pushes everything back, including the first patch based on player feedback from an exponentially larger group.
