I was just playing as Targaryen after winning the War of the Usurper. I noticed that for the different council positions, you can only appoint your direct vassals (and possibly family members, not sure). I wanted to make Littlefinger my master of coin but he is a direct vassal to Jon Arryn, and so I can't apppoint him. Is this WAD? It seems very different from the way things work in the ASOIF universe.

My game keeps crashing at launch. I placed it in the mod folders. Any ideas?

EDIT:Seems like the mod doesnt support 1280x720 resolution, i was checking the logs at C:\Users\Cristian\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\A Game of Thrones\logs and under errors it said resolution height too low changing to 768. I then changed my resolution to 1024x768 and it loaded fine.

Was able to set the ambition "Achieve marital bliss" more than once during the same marriage; the second time husband and wife relations were already at 100 and so the ambition was fulfilled easily. As it stands, this is an easy way to build diplomacy.

No idea if WAD or not, but while besieging Gulltown as Andar Royce (revoke plot), my army's numbers started dropping quickly and dramatically for no apparent reason, with no siege event pop-up (from 6k to 3k in a few months). I was below the supply cap, so this was not attrition.

I confirm. Seen this happening as Targaryen. I was not very distracteb by it because +-10k does not matter when 100k can be lost in matter of seconds.

The game that one of your vassals brings forward to you about something he found in the free cities. The second (i think) option where you verse him, the event that is given back to you says something like "Just when (your characters name) is about to win you... or something like that, I guess the event was sent to the wrong person.

Also I know its probably working as designed but the supply limits are annoyingly small for the amount of armies you can throw up at the start, especially since if a lot of people go against the king they troop stack at all the choke points so if you want to actually siege a place you get stuck with a month or so (depending on where) of attrition. Most of the time the AI is already sitting in attrition too :(

I put out a hit on my mom (duchess of Oldtown), gathered the 5 people necessary to ambush her, and my wife died instead. The plot was still active but no option to execute it showed in the intrigue panel anymore.

It executed properly on a reload, but I thought you should be aware of this.

- I was able to marry my sister matrilineally to the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch (which shouldn't be possible); she left my court for the Night's Watch, became a bastard (I guess this is to keep Night's Watchmen from having any family claims?) and a Silent Sister, then returned to my court within a month.
The AI can't do that, but there's no way to stop the player.

- The deadly sins should probably have different names and descriptors; instead of Gluttony, for instance, the trait could be Gluttonous and the descriptors should leave out the bits about the Seven Deadly Sins and their Latin names. Not a huge deal, but worth noting (if you want help with changing some of the inappropriate vanilla descriptors, I can help).
The personality traits fit it well. The only changes I could possibly think of would be tying a virtue and vice to each of the Seven (the Crone's Patience, the Warrior's wroth). You'd run into the problem of non-Faith characters sharing these traits, though.

@Syrano
It's CK2 mechanic. ; )
You can get around it with events, I think.

Dont know if this is a bug but i noticed that the North has no ships at all, in fact, aside from Dragonstone and a few other provinces, no one has ships either, not even the ironborn. This means that no one can really attack the iron islands and that the iron islands and their big armies can't fight in mainland wars.

The Arbor, the Iron Throne, and the Iron Isles can all raise ships. You can raise 200 ships as the Ironborn at start.

The Iron Islands should have ships. They lack, if I recall, a shipyard building, but the castles and such give them ships. Positive of it. I did a quick run through as Iron King Theon and raided Dragonstone and King's Landing (despite him being six years of age >_> )

I declared war on them, they raised their levies and sat there for 40 years w.o getting on any ships. Also, shouldn't white harbor at least provide a small navy?

Playing as littlefinger I managed to claim and take two other provinces in the fingers. now I have above 50% of the high lordship but I can't create it as the game says my capital is not in the fingers (I only own provinces in the fingers).

Also, after ~11 years I had the option to switch to elective which then became unavailable after a few years? Elective seems a little bit out of place (excepting maybe the iron isles or the northern clans)

I did the same thing. You need to mouse over the create button you'll see which provinces one of which needs to be capital. Littlefinger's starting province is not a valid one. I made the bottom of the three fingers the capital county by selecting the province and there was a button on the top of the panel IIRC.

This means that no one can really attack the iron islands and that the iron islands and their big armies can't fight in mainland wars.
On a side note with the iron islands only the Lord Paramount can fight a war. It is impossible with out using mercs to do your fighting due to the ship count numbers for everyone else in the iron islands to mount any kind of war on each other or other people.

The reason is the personally levies are so big and the ship numbers are so low that minor lords in the iron islands cant move their troops using their own fleets because the base number wont fit on the ship and you can not break the troop sizes down.

I don't know if that is wad but it is a balancing thing the needs to be looked at since. As it is only the Lord Paramount of the iron islands can do anything. This makes civil wars and plots pointless for his vassals since they will always lose with no chance of victory. (They also cant fight each other in internal power struggles since their armies can't engage unless their lucky enough to be on the same island..)

I wonder if there's a way to get around this somewhat with a high modifier to get people to be invited to your court so you could appoint them, and then if you dismiss them a trigger to get them their old title back?
