Okay, so I used the installer now, but it's saying I have a runtime error when I launch it from Steam. Any idea what's going on?
Good spot, it shall be fixed!"Expanded keep" currently increases Levy by 50%. I believe this might be a typo and it was supposed to be 5%![]()
Hmm, I have an idea of what might be causing this, i'll investigate further. Thanks for the reportI have a bunch of CTD
After 40 years of play, when my first character death, game bagins to CTD about every 10 min. Looking into logs I noticed what every random.log end for 1 day of month and every game.log end with a message about banishing a character, like:
[characterinteraction.cpp:1912]: Lord Steffon of Hammerhorn (696975307) exiles Beron of Crow Spike Keep (696986303) to Commander Eldred of Eastwatch by-the-Sea (696973955)
[messagehandler.cpp:541]: YBeron of Crow Spike Keep! has been banished from YLord Steffon of Hammerhorn's! lands
Ive adjusted how dragons are inherited, so the script explicitally avoids dead characters. It appears scopes like random_child can target dead characters. Hopefully that should stop this. Not sure if this is a known issue (I imagine it's known but I just want to make sure), but dragon inheritance has a problem when first children are dead at the point of inheritance. I started at the war of conquest scenario and the first children from Aegon and Visenya and Aegon and Rhaenys both died. When Aegon himself died his dragon went to his long-dead first son, and the same with Rhaenys/Visenya (I forget which is which). I hatched an egg as Maegor, and even had I not I would've been fine when his mother died (since her first was Maegor and he wasn't dead), but two out of the three dragons at the starting scenario just went up in smoke by being given to dead characters. If it's at all possible to fix this it would be great. I have my save if this isn't supposed to be happening as of this version.
Yeah, all the new personal improvement events need adjusting, thanks for highlighting this one.I had an event where an "old diplomat" offered to teach me his wisdom, claiming to have been to "all major courts of Europe"...you might wanna delete the european reference![]()
Can you remember exactly what the event said? Was it something along the lines of 'Lord Lannister has executed your wife for your oppostion to him in the war'. If so it I would guess the Lannisters have invited her to his court, pressed her claim, and the mega war event where you can imprison/execute your enemies close relatives under your control has fired.Particullarly maddening AI behavior:
I was playing the conquest scenario, a couple of generations in by this point. My king (Aegon II IIRC) was rather crazy, but not doing badly. His sister/wife was master of laws, improving relations with the Lannisters (who'd held on to the Westerlands and Casterly Rock). Suddenly, she leaves my court for his. A month later, the Lannisters give me the ultimatum to step down in favor of my wife. Oh, it's on, you little blonde bastards!
So far, so awesome. The conspirators are doing rather well (the only dragon left in the family is my comatose uncles, who is one of the rebels). Then suddenly I get the message that my enemy, the Lannister LP of the Westerlands, has executed my wife. The one he started the war to enthrone. WTF? Even for Lannisters, that is rather extreme douchebaggery. The war immediately ends inconclusively. I promptly imprison him.
So the AI decided to start a war, then kill their claimant whilst winning that war, so they could then be my vassals again and meekly accept prison. Granted, Lannisters being the pains in the ass they are, his brother later won a trial by combat against my Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, despite the LCoK being a level 4 fighter and the brother a two. So in the end, despite AI stupidity, it somehow got the last laugh.
Here it is. Hope I got it right.
Dear sir, you've tried to play CK2+ with AGOT.

Ok, works now, installed in my documents. Thank you guys for the patience.
