I'm currently playing as Alwyn II, King of Wales.
My Father Alwyn I of Wales married my Mother, Empress of Byzantine Empire. I am their first born son (neither had children, or even marriages, before).
Both Kingdoms have Agnatic-Cognatic Premo as the succession law. I am now King of Wales after my father's death, my mother remains Empress of Byzantine.
For my whole life I've been Heir to Byzantine Empire. I've just looked to see how old my mother is (she's 69!) and I noticed that her heir has suddenly changed!
Her heir is now my nephew: My younger sister's son (with her German husband who has no ties to either Wales nor Byzantine).
I was shocked! I checked their succession laws but it's still Ag-Con Premo, surely as eldest son I should still be the heir!?
This was after I installed Legacy of Rome, could that have effected it? Though I don't remember if I'd checked before after the instillation.
Any ideas?
Many thanks
