Just look at the screenshot.
Castile is under my union (yes, under union of Ottomans). I just gave them big bunch of Portugal (every province has a castile claim).
So, entire Europe is upset about my aggressive expansion, BUT Castile too!
Why? I gave land to Castile. Castile is under my rulership. How the heck Castile can be upset of me even more than everybody else?

Is it reported bug? Does paradox confirm that it is a bug, not a WAD?
It's so frustrating, ugh.

Well, people have been complaining about it for a long time, whether its a bug or not....ehh. I am normally done with anywhere they would get AE from by the time I get the Wedding these days though, so it doesn't matter that much.

its been around since 1.10 I think.

I think it happens if you feed them provinces in their culture group. Not sure though.

But i vaguely remember @ikkiks saying something about Burgundy getting ae if fed inside france, but not if in HRE. Or something like that...

Well... You gain AE for your subjects (obviously, as they can't have a coalition form), and PU partners seem to take nearly full AE hits against you. So they get AE from the land they earned. Not sure if a bug or WAD, but it's been around for a long time.
