aggresive expansion impact when isolatin capital by vassal terretory

Hallo,
i just heard about this when watching a stream, bat the streamer didn´t explain than and there waht the exact difference ist to aggresive Expansion and ability of the ai to join coalitions, to having aregular capital. thanks for taking the time.

The AI cannot join a coalition if it does not have access to your lands, either by sharing a border directly or by having port access. This means that a landlocked AI will never join a coalition against you no matter how much AE you build up if you don't border them directly (for example by feeding provinces to your vassals instead of taking them yourself).
