Modified triggre for TRE_298005 "The Last Desperate Plea":
Code:
	trigger = {
		monarch = 0137502 #Dauid II Kommenos
		[COLOR=Yellow]NOT = {
			alliance = { country = TUR country = TRE }
			vassal = { country = TUR country = TRE }
			vassal = { country = TRE country = TUR }
		}[/COLOR]
	}
I don't see the point in seeking help if Trebizond is not in danger. In this case, unwanted war command in triggered OE event is thus avoided.

I added a separate set of events for BUR and PAP for help of the West (an event can't fire twice) even if odds are really tiny.

Perhaps also a size trigger? This event does't really make sense for large TRE either (not that likely, but similar triggers are also added in the absorption of the Ghazi states iirc)

Modified trigger (again) for TRE_298005 "The Last Desperate Plea":
Code:
	trigger = {
		monarch = 0137502 #Dauid II Kommenos
		NOT = {
			alliance = { country = TUR country = TRE }
			vassal = { country = TUR country = TRE }
			vassal = { country = TRE country = TUR }
			countrysize = 5
		}
		[COLOR=Yellow]neighbour = TUR[/COLOR]
	}
Otherwise, OE will "inherit" Trebizond without any border... It can happen if OE doesn't own Angora anymore and Candar still alive for example.

Restoration of Byzanz events

Both Serbia and Trebizond have events that let them "restore the Roman empire". However there are distinct differences that I don´t understand.

Serbia for example can claim greek culture and the cores of Byzanz even before they own Thrace (event 80327 choice B) and later in event 80328 then they decide if they want to restore the empire or to stay a great serbia with byzantian cores.

Trebizond has no event to gain cores when Byzanz falls and when they manage to get Thrace province, then they can A) become Byzanz or B) stay Trebizond.

Why does Trebizond not get the Byzantian cores if Trebizond stays Trebizond and why does it get them only after taking Thrace unlike Serbia? If non-greek Serbia can do that, then why can´t they?

Why does Trebizond become Byzanz
"command = { type = country which = BYZ }"
when chosing to restore the roman empire, but Serbia does not?

They probably should act the same way. Leftover of vanilla?

I find it also strange, that Byzanz should have some complicated events involving revoltrisk to gain slavonic culture, when Serbia simply can gain greek culture and all byzantian cores immediately when the Osmans conquer Byzanz. Trebizond has only the "Restore Byzantium" event - should a "Fall of Constantinople" event be added similar to the serbian one, or should in the Trebizond restoration event simply the byzantian cores be added?

To be more precise, Serbia should own and control Thrace even if not at war (ie. province not rebel controlled). It should be the case for all others countries able to reform Byzance.

There should be a flag set in the "b" choice in the first event, that is a required trigger for the second event. Otherwise you can let the roman empire rest, and then restore it.

I think it's ridiculous that Serbia would lose slavonic culture for any reason. "Well, the King moved, so we hate him now?"

Some countries just have more opportunity than others; Byzantium needs to go through hell to get Slavonic culture because it lost its ties to those people so long ago, whereas Serbia did not. Perhaps Serbia should have to go through hell to get Greek culture instead.
