I have played the AGCEEP mod a few times and found it fun. Trouble is, it is , like vanilla EU2, just TOO historical at times. For example, I wanted to play as Ottoman Empire and found several event codes for later on which got rid of the cores on certain provinces after declaring a specific Serbian/Tripoli/Barbary Coast/Egyptian etc. revolt. Since I wanted to play an alternative Ottoman Empire on a par with England etc. (I had added another event code which altered the technology level to "latin"(3423)), I was annoyed at being forced to retreat even when my economy was FAR greater than any other European player. Anyway, I tried some event codes from the original EU2(Event ID 3350-3400) but couldn't find the ones which automatically come after a new Sultan arrives where new core provinces are added upon. I want to use these particular event codes whenever I get some event saying that a national core in Serbia/Egypt etc. has been removed, so that I can faithfully reenact a scenario with a powerful Ottoman Empire. Trouble is when I tried to open the DB/Events list in the AGCEEP file, it didn't work. Presumably I had pre-selected the wrong type of file to open it with or whatever. Do I need "winzip" or something? Or can anyone give me the correct AGCEEP event-code range for the Ottoman Empire?

Thanks Jester,
It think the problem was that I had downloaded a trial version of winzip and it interfered with the opening of the event-code files. Anyway, it's all sorted.
