AGCEEP Crashing on install help please

Sorry but I cannot get it to run. Here is what I have done.

Stripped out EU2 Folder
Loaded eu2 and patched to 1.08
Followed link to AGCEEP page
Downloaded the second choice with the better map


On attempting to start the game (from the yellow icon) the Ageep will load and then when I attempt to start a Grand Campaign it will load as far as 95% from the end where it should say 'initialising script' where it crashes. My system is a 1.7 Pentium4 running XP home edition. I have all of the other Paradox games and they work fine.

I hope you will be able to tell me that I have done somthing stupid.

I have tried twice once with and once without the beta with the same result.

I don't know what to say. You aren't the first with this problem...however I dont really know how to help solve it.

I had this problem a couple of hours ago. I thought the website's instructions were talking about a beta patch for AGCEEP. After "getting the point", I downloaded EU2's beta patch. After applying that and reinstalling the mod, it works fine.

Nope, I have done all of the above and it still will not work. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!
