A thought for a Papal event:

  • "Tetzel the Indulgence Peddler" event for Rome in the early 16th c. Tetzel was one of the best indulgence peddlers ever; it was his successes and excesses that in part led to Luther's disgust with the Roman system - decreased prestige in Germany in exchange for an influx of capital.
