Ok for year 1439.

I don't understand the removal of the GOT existence condition in DAN_159046.

I don't understand the removal of the inherit command in DAN_159047 while ACTIONNAME259007A (triggering POM event) is still "Leave Pomerania to Erik (End Game)" and suggests Pomerania will disappear.

event below [DAN_159049]?? Gotland was owned by POM from 1440 to 1449.
Under Erik's rule? What is really Pomerania in this case?

Toio said:
event below [POM_259005] should be triggered by 159046 (DAN)
Could you explain your reasoning?

Same question about POM monarchs, is Wartislaw IX the same person as Bogislaw / Boguslaw IX?
In this case, shouldn't we fix event(s) of the death of Boguslaw (and thus inheritance) according to the date you propose:
Code:
day = 16
month = june
year = 1457

eric took it for himself after he was removed as king of DAN and became duke of stolp, it was them POM land

as i said, remove event entirly or remove only what is red and repair rest of event

Under Erik's rule? What is really Pomerania in this case?

because unless GOT is independent then if gotland is danish it should follow eric under POM, thats history

Could you explain your reasoning?
as above, event should fire only if DAN hold gotland , not gotland owned by gotland

Same question about POM monarchs, is Wartislaw IX the same person as Bogislaw / Boguslaw IX?

to keep the reign in line we need to start with the duchy of wolgast and not the duchy of stargard

duchy of stargard below
Dukes

* 1377-1402 Bogislaw VIII (Stolp) and Barnim V (Traburg)
* 1402-1418 Bogislaw VIII
* 1418-1446 Bogislaw IX

died out in 1446

duchy of wolgast, below
Dukes

* 1295-1309 Bogislaw IV
* 1309-1326 Wartislaw IV
* 1326-1365 Bogislaw V, Wartislaw V and Barnim VI
* 1365-1368 Bogislaw V and Wartislaw V
* 1368-1376 Bogislaw VI and Wartislaw IV (?)
* 1376-1393 Bogislaw VI
* 1393-1394 Wartislaw VI
* 1394-1405 Barnim VI
* 1405-1451 Barnim VII and Wartislaw IX
* 1451-1457 Wartislaw IX
* 1457-1474 Erich II

* 1474-1523 Bogislaw X (from 1478 all Pomerania)
* 1523-1531 Barnim IX and George I, Duke of Pomerania

* 1532-1560 Philip I
* 1567-1569 Bogislaw XIII, Ernest Louis, John and Barnim X
* 1569-1592 Ernest Louis
* 1592-1625 Phillip II Julius
* 1625-1637 Bogislaw XIV

* (from 1637 western part of Pomerania inc. Stettin to Sweden: Swedish Pomerania)
* (1637-1657 Lauenburg-Bütow Land to Poland, next to Brandenburg)
* (from 1648 eastern part of Pomerania to Brandenburg-Prussia)

Garbon said:
Why should POM_259005 be triggered by a Danish event? It is triggered off a sequence with Gotland and its text clearly states that POM's choice had nothing to do with what Sweden or Denmark wanted.

wheres does this text come from. i have no knowledge of it in the book i read

Garbon said:
Also I suspect what happened here is that the creators of said events were trying to represent a different division of Pomerania.

yes, they where trying to portray that eric I assumed authority of POM after he lost the title of king of denmark. he only became ruler over POM from 1457 under the title of eric II

Garbon said:
And I was correct in my assumption:

but the stargard line is a dead line, you might as well place it under the duchy of stolp line, ( see below)

Dukes

* 1368-1373 Bogislaw V
* 1374-1377 Casimir IV
* 1377-1395 Wartislaw VII
* 1395-1402 Bogislaw VIII i Barnim V
* 1402-1403 Barnim V
* 1403-1418 Bogislaw VIII
* 1418-1446 Bogislaw IX
* 1449-1459 Casimir IV

as Bogislaw IX ruled both.............if you want to go this way, then Casmir IV comes next in line, then follows ERIC II in 1457?
it does not flow

I think Twoflower's list was jumping around...perhaps hitting the highlights?

Garbon said:
I think Twoflower's list was jumping around...perhaps hitting the highlights?

well if u like to retain this path for POM then the monarchs would be

* 1418-1446 Bogislaw IX
* 1449-1459 Casimir IV......ending in 1457 if this is your idea
* 1457-1474 Erich II

* 1474-1523 Bogislaw X (from 1478 all Pomerania)
* 1523-1531 Barnim IX and George I, Duke of Pomerania

* 1532-1560 Philip I
etc etc etc

post #64 is in error, eric I is a different person than eric II. so basically Eric I king of denmark (kalmar union) never ruled POM , but because he was duke of stolp ( a part of POM) he, when he abdicated/was replaced in 1439 took gotland under the rule of POM.

so to clarify the monarchs for POM would be

* 1418-1446 Bogislaw IX
* 1446-1449 Barnim VII
* 1449-1459 Casimir IV
* 1459-1474 Erich II
* 1474-1523 Bogislaw X (from 1478 all Pomerania)
* 1523-1531 Barnim IX
* 1532-1560 Philip I
* 1561-1567 Barnim X
* 1567-1569 Bogislaw XIII
* 1569-1592 Ernest Louis
* 1592-1625 Phillip II Julius
* 1625-1637 Bogislaw XIV

this would ensure that the events that Garbon indicated for Bogislaw IX would remain

the changes of deathdates would be changed plus an event for DAN , that if it held gotland in 1439 would cede gotland to POM once eric I was replaced.
Then in 1448 , POM will cede gotland back to DAN

Is this satisfactory?

as no response to post #69 , i will address the monarchs first.

I will then do the events

Is this the final version or are other amendments needed?

Id for new "Barnim VII" will be 0110017 and 0110018 for "Bogislaw XIII".

yes, Final version for POM and DAN........although GOT (ahistorical) I have left as it is.

very brief History of gotland

Up to 1408 under the teutonic knights, then sold to Eric of Pomerania,
kept by Eric up to 1449 then given to DAN ..........later to go to SWE

@Toio: please check POM_259008 and SWE_291023. They both use removed POM_259004 as condition in trigger.

POM 259008 is in error, the swedes where on the island as "allies" of eric, they only wanted gotland after eric gave it to DAN in 1449

actually you can still keep the event with only a change in the startdate ,

Ok for POM_259008 (259004 condition should be removed too) and modified SWE_291024 but what about SWE_291023?

EDIT: with the modification of POM_259008 and DAN_159049 + SWE_291024 also being triggered by GOT_367006 (duplicate of POM event), there is a consistency issue now. And EVENTHIST159049 could be wrong too => to be replaced by EVENTHIST259008.

but swe 291024 needs a trigger

Code:
#(1419-1459) The invasion of Gotland
event = {
	id = 291024 [COLOR=Red]#triggered by GOT_367006 A[/COLOR]
        [COLOR=Yellow]trigger = {
        NOT = {
        vassal = { country = DAN country = SWE }
        alliance   = { country = DAN country = SWE }
        }
        }[/COLOR]
	random = no
	country = SWE
	name = "EVENTNAME291024" #The invasion of Gotland
	desc = "EVENTHIST291024"
	#-#[COLOR=Yellow]In 1449 the Swedish forces in Gotland aided Erik in the war against the Danes. While Erik was successful in defending the island, he realised that there was no way he could win the war. Therefore he agreed to leave Gotland to the Danes for safe passage to Pomerania.[/COLOR]

         [COLOR=Yellow]date = { day = 1 month = january year = 1449 }
         offset = 10
         deathdate = { day = 1 month = january year = 1459 } [/COLOR]

	action_a = {
		name = "ACTIONNAME291024A" #Accept Danish sovereignty of Gotland
		command = { type = stability value = 1 }
		command = { type = removecore which = 308 } #Gotland
	}
	action_b = {
		name = "ACTIONNAME291024B" #Claim Gotland and declare war on Denmark
		command = { type = war which = DAN }
	}
}

whats wrong with event 159049 ?, a ahistoric Gotland, gives itself away (end game) to redirect history back on the right path.
granted the text needs amending

There is nothing wrong with event 159049 actions, only with description.

I'm not sure I understand the modification for SWE_291024 and added dates. Will the event not be triggered by POM_259008 and GOT_367006 anymore?
