Death Throes​

On March 3rd 1953, Britain and Norway rose in revolt. Over the month, Airplanes and tanks were captured by the rebels and Berlin was even attacked from the air. Hermann Goering quickly deployed divisions but the rebelling countries had already fallen to the rebels.

Sweden and Finland also rebelled and soon liberated their countries. Mussolini announced support for Goering, but amazingly, a major revolution took place and he was replaced by a democratic government.

Goering announced Operation Nuclear Storm. Numerous targets were to be hit by nuclear weapons all over the world. He announced the date of operation as 5th June 1953

Meanwhile, the first ever moon probe was sent into space by Japan and Germany started to fall behind in the space race.

The End of Civilization​

On hearing about this plan, Japan announced that it had mobilized it's airforce. It then declared war on Germany. Berlin was quickly firebombed and the Fuhrerhaus was destroyed. France rose up in rebellion and British troops arrived to support them.

Japanese troops quickly advanced into German occupied Russia but were counter-attacked at Krasnoyarsk. The eve before the nuclear storm arrived. Japan announced it's own nuclear storm against Germany. The next day was the day that the both sides nuked eachother. Europe and Asia lay in ruins. Rubble was everywhere and few were left alive. 2 billion were dead.

The remains of the Allied armies advanced over Germany. The war was over and all major cities in Europe and Asia were wiped out. It would be hard to rebuild, but, everybody knew that all humankind could do was shrug and move on.

All satellites orbiting Earth decayed from Earth within the next 30 years. But, in the 21st century, mankind worked together and in 2020 the first man stepped on the moon. The world was united, albeit with a horrific loss of life

I'm afraid that I had gone down a bit wrong and had lost the storyline pretty much. Self inflicted death as you would say.
