Sorry about all the hotfixes, everyone. It always seems like people notice things within an hour of release that I somehow missed through a week of testing.

hey is there going to be any kind of patron deity system implemented for Americanists? unlike with deities of other religions there's plenty to work with considering how many presidents had qualities or attributes that stood out, even in more unconventional ways.

A suggestion: Gaians should have reversed genders for the employment decisions (invite holy man, invite noble, promote commander, present débutante, maybe even search for guru?)

Thinking about it, Ursalines (and maybe libertarians? I forget it they prioritize female clergy.) should have invite holy (wo)man too.

I've just noticed a bug where Promoting a Commander from the Intrigue menu gets you two soldiers. Two names appear in the tooltip for the decision:

20180721032122_1.jpg

When you take the decision, only one of them appears in the confirmation event, but if you check the end of your court list, they're both there:

20180721032241_1.jpg

Poking at the decision files, I don't immediately understand why this happens, but I do notice that the decision to hire a steward seems to be missing the misc.3 diversity event.

Changelog

Fixed Bankers' Guild - there is only one society now, and the AI will be more likely to join and stay in the Banker's Guild. (Side note: The Bankers' Guild "Subsidize Construction" power works perfectly fine, even though it does not appear in the tooltip for the Dealer rank.)
Added diversity to hired stewards.
Added new event images for the invasion events.

Druidic rulers don't seem to be able to appoint chancellors or seers.
You can only appoint characters with the Druid trait to those positions. Try hiring a Druid from the intrigue menu.
(Yeah, I know that's confusing when the entire religion is called Druidic. I guess it'd be like calling Judaism "Rabbinic" in-game - not technically incorrect, but kind of confusing. Still, it's less confusing than "Celtic" vs. "Cetic".)

I have written some scripts to make sure that every adult npc Sagrado Corazon character who gets a title, also gets a saint cult trait if they don't already have one. The changes are in common/on_actions/00_on_actions.txt in the on_new_holder(_inheritance/_usurpation) sections, and a new event sacredheart.3 in events/sacred_heart_events.txt.

Initially I wanted to add the traits to every Sagrado Corazon character including landless courtiers, but I'm not sure the traits are balanced for non-title-holders. In particular, recruited commanders would usually choose El Santo, so they would have +1 Martial across the board versus commanders of other faiths.

This could probably be extended to other religions with traits like Gracia Divina and Occultists, but I'm not yet familiar enough with how those work.

9kbits, you may certainly incorporate these changes if you wish to.

The patricians of New York City are all characters from the Batman universe. Also under New York in Brooklyn, are the Rothschilds, a prominent Jewish banker family. The duke of Philadelphia is a character from It's Always Sunny.

The Angeleno culture (Socal) has many dynasties that are the names of celebrities, like Cohn, Colbert, Brando, and so on.

The patricians of New York City are all characters from the Batman universe.
I feel like the Gothamite culture could use a lot more dynasty names. In all my games so far, a Gothamite grandmaster of the Knights of Columbus takes a huge kingdom in a crusade and for the rest of the game, there are so many different Wayne and Nigma families running around it's baffling.

The TV Tropes page is still getting updated, but it's kind of slow-going. Also, I added a dozen new easter egg characters in v0.3. They're all from the upcoming Kaiserreich dating sim, Edelweiss.
