I’m also experiencing unplayable lag in the 2700’s. I guess it’s inevitable for such a big mod. Shame, it’s scuppered my Deschutes -> Idaho -> Reincarnation of the General run.

I don’t know how big an ask this is, I only know the basics of ck2 modding, but is there a way to easily ‘turn off’ parts of the map? If I’m doing a northwest playthrough the entire east coast of the Americas from Newfoundland to Guyana is eating in to my performance without impacting my game, and likewise for California if I’m playing a game out east.

So I have a bug to report: A majority of Mexicano cultured rulers and vassal are invisible people as adults, especially Sagrado Corazon ones. Cetics and Atomacists are a toss up. As well as a few Catholics. And one Neomaya guy.

Regarding the lag- it was definitely better in the previous build. One of the reasons I liked this mod was because my laptop could handle it, though I imagine I'm in the minority in running CKII from such a limited machine. Because of this, I don't know whether the lag is because of poor optimisation/coding, or my just mods naturally getting more complicated and my machine not being able to cope.

From what I've heard, the lag may be because of the infinitely repeating Japanese Invasion / Colonizer bug dumping large numbers of courtiers everywhere. Visual/naming problems might be caused by an uncleared cache.

I already reported that bug : turned out I was not using the latest version of CK2 (I never unsubscribed to the 64bit beta).

You need to use 3.3.2. It should solve the problem.

As for myself though, I still have the issue of the Trailwalkers not getting a religious head no matter what leadership doctrine I pick, which was not solved by the last mod hotfix...
I posted a savegame a few posts above just before reformation if anyone wants to try it out.

Thanks !

All was runing smoothly, then in the 2740's, the japanese invasion came, right after that it became one hell of a laggy mess. Right now ther is one day every 2-3 sec at speed 5. I'm almost sure that it was caused by the japs wining their invasion but somehow not making it on the map.

Someone mentioned earlier that there's some glitch in the code that's causing the invasion to flood west coast courts with newly generated courtiers. I imagine the devs are trying to track down the typo responsible as we speak.

Open Sesame Society assigns a mission to essentially go on a Hajj, although the word in the text starts with a Z (my memory fails me at the moment). The mission never becomes available on the Intrigue tab.

Bug report: It seems that 1.0b broke forge a bloodline focus. After getting the event for war bloodline and picking warrior philosopher I only got the nickname. I also tested using commands for other bloodlines and the events don't fire.
Edit: I copied HF_bloodline_events from 1.0a and it fixed it.

So in the previous update, several non-Voodoo patricians were added to the Republic of Orleans. I kinda get why this was done, as its a bit of a trend in this mod to have republics made up of loads of different religious groups. Unfortunately in this case, it creates a situation where when one of these patricians wins an election, the game thinks New Orleans has been conquered and the Order of Saint Expidat is founded, despite the fact that this often happens early enough in the game that Creaux Louisiana is still alive and well.
