Anyone else feel like Mesoamerican and Native American religions should be reformable?

??????? The Nanissáanah religion is already described as a Reformation of traditional Indian religion.

In the real world, most of these religions have been around for a long enough time that their practices are fairly set and standardized even without a central authority. Taking into account that some of them are currently extinct or nearly so, their practices are a matter of known record.

Then again, this gets into the muddy waters of how unreformed paganism is different from organized faiths outside of game terms. Maybe it's better to leave them as they are, they're alright as is.

Speaking of Native religions though, testing shows that my previous issue with the Haida warrior lodge seems not to be a one-off bug. Anyone else have problems with the Haida legend or creating a totem? Or is this just a feature that has yet to be included and I didn't see that mentioned?

The more that are reform-able the better. Th fun thing about reformation is picking up the doctrines yourself.

Does anybody know where I could get a full version of the Brazilian map in the loading screen?

As the "history" now has more details(like families of By Laurier and his relationship with the Canadian Queen), I hope to put forward some ideas on it.
Like: 1. A bloodline of Huckleberry Finn in Mississipi, it could even include someone like Finn the human(But in an Easter Egg way, like Morton Finn), and bloodline of Tom Sawyer.
2. An American Alexander and his "diadochi"s, they could follow the Americanist religion.
3. An American Ghenghis Khan, well, it seems that family Mahonic is just that.
4.An Ozma bloodline in Kansas.
5.A lonely bloodline, in Columbia.

But isn't that mod/After the End Fan Fork/gfx/loadingscreens/load_29.dds?

Speaking of the loading screens, how does the game determine which ones to use? When I load up AtE, one in three of the loading screens it shuffles through are the Brazil map. But meanwhile there are several in that loadingscreens folder that I don't think I've ever seen before now. So, not exactly a problem, but does anyone know what's up with that?

Maybe, But I can't open .DDS files, Which is why I'm asking.

August Supernault's Saskatchewan is somewhat overpowered with the 10K horde, I was able to get 58% of de jure Thunderland, Or 45 provinces (Which sounds much less impressive now that I say it...), Including the vast majority of Prairieland and Big Sky, In just 74 years, With no Viable threat to my existence or expansion. On an unrelated note I once had 4 revolts in the same province over the course of two years, At most.

I have an idea, Perhaps island provinces (I.E. not connected by land to any other province) could have a chance of a "Pirate Uprising" or something, Basically just a revolt where Pirates try to seize the island.

Idle thought: With all the Germanic enclaves in North America, how about adding one in South America? Specifically Colonia Tovar, which is basically a German village almost literally transplanted to the Caribbean -- including a distinctive architectural style and a significant minority of speakers of a unique dialect of Alemannic German.

I know I've asked before, but I'd like to ask again- will AtE get compatibility with the anime faces mod? I generally dislike the trouble I have with friends and me trying to get graphics DLC to work (Most don't for my friends despite my having them) as well as the workshop mods for DLC portraits in AtE not working properly. Balding German woman, or portraits not working entirely.

Anything is better then vanilla CK2 portraits.

If you want to work on a compatibility submod, you can reference the code in the DLC portrait compatibility submods.

Just finished two games using this mod, really good fun!

Here are my thoughts-

The game ends too early. I feel like if you're not power-gaming then you don't really have enough time to establish yourself.

The two games I played ended up having completely different maps of America, with very different politics, which is great. One had very splintered Kingdoms dotted around, with Christianity almost completely wiped out, and most pagan religions being reformed (bar for the Norse, who were incredibly successful throughout the game, but never reformed). The other one had incredible empires spreading accross entire continents, with Christianity taking over almost everywhere. All of California, including Baja California got turned into the realm of the Prophet in that last game, which was cool. I love the Consumerist stuff.

The invasions amounted to nothing in both games. Neither the British, the Russians, or the Japanese ever lasted more then a few years. Really quite disappointing.

I looked up 'llanero', and apparently it means cowboy? I'm not from America, so maybe I don't get the joke, but what does this represent? I can't imagine what this culture is like. What is a cowboy monarch like?

I love the American football helmets some cultures get. And the feathered headdresses! If you have an artist, it would be fun for Voodoo priests to get top hats. Maybe they do already actually, I never looked.

Some places are too weak. Vodun Lousiana has no natural friends. Could it have alliances in the Carribbean Empire maybe? The Ursuline religion got eaten up in both games. I played as a Gaian in the second game, but their situation is so terribly precarious, which is a shame, because they're quite interesting. In both of my games the Atomicist heresy (Aphism?) easily became dominant, I was even playing as an Atomicist tribe in the first game.

I don't (personally), like the joke about Druidic people in Newfoundland. I'm guessing it's because Scottish people settled there or something? It's kind of a boring stereotype. The Norse, Scandinavian Neo-Deutsch types in the North of the map is a better example of this joke being done, you don't need to do it twice!
If it's supposed to represent some sort of neo-druidic movement, make them Neomayan, or Gaian or something.

The landmarks in some provinces are amazing. Really superb and excellent level of detail, it really helps to colour your Kingdom.

Los Llanos refers to a set of plains in Venezuela and Columbia. As for why it had to be a nomad land I do not know.

Geography, probably. That area is just as flat as the Prairies, so people living there would likely adopt a nomadic lifestyle similar to what people on the steppes of Eurasia did in the middle ages.

I think it's better to set American Ghenghis Khan bloodline as a decision for hordes of the Great Plain(like vanilla)

If something like that is implemented, I think it should be the bloodline of Louis Riel. He's probably one of the most notable Native Americans in Canadian history, so it makes sense that he'd get mythologized by ghost dance practitioners in the Prairies.

Ah, So is that what it means when it says the emperor of Brazil likes Cowboys?

Idea: After the Caribbean Empire collapses, An event can occur where a "Reincarnation Of Blackbeard" invades the Bahamas and founds a new Republic of Pirates, With Merchant Republic government type or it's own custom government type, Or atleast a decision for a pirate to form the Republic of Pirates if they rule enough of the Bahamas.
