Is it possible for americanists to gain access to crusades?
They had access to a Crusade-like event called liberation wars, but due to a bug involving the presidency, they were scrapped in favor of the Norse invasion CB.

The Americanist antipope bug seems to be caused by one of your vassals having a claim on the presidential title. We may add a way to remove claims from people other than the president, but for now you could try pressing your vassal's claim on the president to install your vassal as an unelected president (or kill/unland him if you're a true patriot!). This will work in the same way you'd install your own pope in vanilla.

The Redcoat inconclusive war bug is a bit less clear, but you could be right about it being caused by a titular title.

I say that you guys should add some Tall Tales into the mod, like seeing a peasant seeing Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, The Devil coming down to Dixieland (devil came down to Georgia), or having your castle be built on an Indian burial ground and becoming haunted (Results in exorcism or finding out it was a servant all along perhaps). Also, it would be cool to give people with the texan culture extra event troops if they are fighting an independence war, cause you know. *In horrific accent* Don't mess with Texas!

Well, I haven't checked in a while, but I know that most of the folklore and cryptid events were targeted to specific areas or cultures, as well as being rare to have happen.

hey is there the possibility of atheism being added?

a rough idea of features:

almost nobody would start with it in 2666
atheist rulers can't demand conversion except with high learning and the WoL theology focus and/or theologian trait.
and it could be obtained by anyone who isn't a primary religious title holder and is cynical via recurring event with around 10-20 year MTTH.
unique holy wars (or rather, anti-holy wars) could be waged

thoughts?

EDIT: hey people, YOU CAN STOP DISAGREEING NOW. the matter has long since been settled.

I don't know if it's come up since the forum reboot, but in the old thread, there were countless long debates over whether or not atheism would be in the game (mostly someone saying no followed by the person arguing for it for another 5 pages). The short answer is no. I don't remember what the exact reasoning was, but it's safe to assume atheism will not be included in the game outside of the cynical trait.

It was kind of rude of me to act exasperated, when you probably didn't know about the other arguments, sorry about that. They just got so repetitive and frequent that it meant tuning out for the next couple of pages when it started.

I have few suggestions about the Norse. It is far too easy to reform the Norse religion. I can do it thirty years from the start. I suggest increasing the needed holy sites or adding a complex even chain to deal with each pagan religion's reformation. Also there is a bug where manyof the Norse holdings become feudal while the owners are still pagan. In addition the size of levies per county are too small for all counties on themap so wars are very long. Unrelated to the Norse the Thelemic religion should start out reformed so there are not civil wars between Old Thelemic and Thelemic.

I'm getting a strange bug where many portraits for characters are offset or completely missing. They can be from any culture though it didn't bother me initially as it seemed to only happen to distant characters. Now however it has been happening to my courtiers and vassals, seemingly randomly.

Just realized, it's only on the portraits you see by clicking on the provinces and the heir pictures, but not any of the other pictures on the the diplo screen (though it's almost impossible to get to their diplo screen since you can't click the portrait on the province)

One question; why is Rust Cultist pagan? From the description, they seem closer to the Old World Cultist group, like Atomicists.

Great mod though, really enjoying it so far. Thanks.

It's kind of ironic that you literally want to turn atheism into a religion in and of itself.
