One of the devs replied to a post about relics on the subreddit a few hours ago, so maybe they are still around. I don't have a reddit account myself so I can't ask what's up.
Please stop inferring broad trends from temporary periods of quiet from the devs. Every one of them has a life beyond this mod. While I too want to see progress made on it, I can't claim that it's essential. It's not like any of us are paying for AtE. Acting like a period of quiet is tantamount to refusing submissions and permanently ceasing updates is a gross exaggeration. They've just gone quiet for a bit, it's not the first time and it won't be the last time. Be patient.devs no longer accept help from community (that includes me) and stopped updating repo

In my experience the MTTH for the colonisations is just fine. 1000 years may seem a lot but remember this is checked for every province on the west coast. Georgus, what is your experience with your changes? I have to assume with so many provinces each running a 10 year MTTH you'd be getting a near-constant stream of colonisers. The 1000 figure has been in place since before I started playing this mod and I've seen the colonisers in all my games, I don't believe Cascal's report that they haven't appeared yet is troubling given that the British also haven't appeared yet in that game. They have a bit more complex of a mechanic but that mechanic is WAD.
There wouldn't exactly be any need to be patient if they just made some more people devs with access to the github, there are plenty of people who seem to have been busy submitting plenty of updates and fixes there but not actually been offered any position on the team so they can just do it themselves. Seems pretty counter intuitive, if you are on a break surely you would want others to be able to pick up the slack. Please stop inferring broad trends from temporary periods of quiet from the devs. Every one of them has a life beyond this mod. My apologies, it looks like you're right. When the game rules were made compatible for some unknown reason the 2750 cutoff was added. It did not exist before then, and the events functioned just fine but typically showed up after the British. So my recommendation would be to remove that cutoff and thus return it to a state that is known to work, rather than fiddle with the MTTH which has been that way since shortly after the event was introduced. The colonization invasions can only happen between 2740-50 if I'm not mistaken, that's what the rule screen says anyways, and I have played several games past those years. The reason the british haven't appeared is because I have done several games that haven't reached the trigger year (2815 right?) for them. It's just strange that in 4 separate games not a single colonial event has fired during those years. I got the first popup about the Westphalia treaty once, but no followups (It failed/succeded and so on).
The Gaians are locked into at least True Cognatic succession, and also have Enatic and Enatic-Cognatic available. The Libertarian heresy of Americanism also has those succession laws available. A handful of other denominations have the Feminist flag (which turns off the opinion penalties you mention): Americanist, Neo-Gnostic, Antinomian, Bickertonite, Strangite, and all the varieties of Canadian Christianity. Sol Invicta and the Old World Cultist group also have access to True Cognatic succession although for some reason lack the feminist flag (also note that this succession law is not available to the Feminist religions unless otherwise stated). True Cognatic is also available to the North Atlantic, North Pacific, and Californian culture groups regardless of religion. Are there any matriarch religions or religions where women can rule/inherit from the start without penalties or needing to change gender laws?

I don't know about the rest of these folks, but I appreciate your hard work and dedication!Um, no, because there's no shortage of people who would radically alter the mod without asking us first if they had the chance. And that's not a hypothetical, that's something we know from past experiences.
Also everyone who submits code is not necessarily great at it, despite the best of intentions. We've gotten offered plenty of code before that was fine on the surface but that was actually a mess once we took a look under the hood.
"Why don't you just let a bunch of people you don't know/don't have a relationship with run the mod while you take a break" is a bit like saying "Hey painter guy, I see you've been painting non-stop for 3+ years on this one canvass, while you take a break why don't I paint my own stuff on it"
Even if the guy offering is potentially great, you can understand the apprehension and caution the painter might have.
Besides all that, is there any great pressure right now? As far as I know there's no big DLC or whatever on the horizon, there's no major changes to the mod that are needed. Isn't while the sea is calm is the best time to take a rest?
Again lads, 3+ years of development, almost non-stop. That was a lot of work.

I hate to post again about the same trouble, but as I said earlier, I went back what is now 17 pages until I got to the Github link, but I didn't see any files which seemed to be directly related to the Islam bug. Could anyone explain exactly how I can fix the bug?
Have Societies been added?
The dev teams of many mods start working on the update immediately after a new DLC is released. For an example of why they do this, look at Warhammer: Geheimnisnacht; they only recently (about 2 weeks ago) got their mod updated to the most recent version and they had people complaining the entire time about how they wouldn't even give a release date and practically demanding why it was taking so long, even complaining after one of the dev team made it clear they were dealing with an injury. The time between DLC releases is the best time to relax because there isn't anyone to complain about how the mod isn't compatible with the current version of CKII and hound the dev team about getting it updated. While I agree with the rest of what you said, I disagree here. Isn't the time when there is no DLC incoming best to update? If there is a DLC mere days away or already just arrived hot off the plate there is little need to mod since everything is in flux, it's when things have calmed down on the dev side that it's best to code since the data won't be shifting under your very feet when you do.
Praise Oppenheimer! Praise the Elements! There's an event with the Atomicist holy sites that will often covert that county, surrounding counties, and the ruler of that county to Atomicism. This sometimes results in San Francisco, Chicago, and the entire Deep South going atomicist.
