Ran a observer game that turned out rather nice. Some highlights:

- Neither the Norse or Hadia have done much with themselves. The Norse are actually getting heavily brutalized by nomads and the traditional norse Northlander strongholds will likely cease to exist at some point.

- Nomads are not vanishing off the face of the earth within a few years, which is nice. (You can also see the spots where the Norse are getting assaulted, sort of.)

54eiqUd.jpg

- At first I thought Jamaica was prominent in the shattered Caribbean because of the usual fracturing, but, as it turns out, Henry Morgan was almost personally involved in completely destroying it in a successful invasion.

apcPX6c.jpg

- The situation in 'Middle America' is actually very pleasing to the eye; there are now five great kingdoms and one empire present, and they are slowly closing in towards the Ozarks. Louisiana remains a bastion of voodoo, but Catholics are also under threat by a very much united Uppland kingdom, which are under the sway of a worst kind of pagan; reformed pagans. Chicagoland is also ruled by the most powerful of all the rust cultist lords, and is a rather interesting fellow. Neither of the Superiors are ruled by Norse rulers, as well; the western one is under the sway of a settled Metis nomad while the merchant republic has since been destroyed by Rust Cultists.

Other notables:

The Kingdom of Lincoln formed and is allied with Horse Heaven against the nomads.

The Anabaptist kingdoms will soon unite under one royal family.

- This guy exists, too. (Look at that nickname synergy)

- While it's hard to make out, the Californian empire is collapsing, effectivly. Two provinces are ruled by Consumerists, with one of those provinces ruled by a female member of the Yudkow family. While the Emperor now has control of a province, it does mean that the Yudknow dynasty has split nearly irreversibly and the Cetic religion will likely never recover.

- Also, this might be a bug, but, er, there's a reason why I'm not talking about the Mormans.

The only really weird thing about that is that the King of the revelationists is ruling from Windsor

Speaking of Ontario, why is it split between two de jure kingdoms? De jure Quebec is massive now, but Ontario is fairly small. I think Aurora ought to be taken out and its duchies given to Ontario (though the actual rulers should still remain independent).

I think the better solution is to split Quebec.

I think the better solution is to split Quebec.

It already is, kind of. The Kingdom of Cote-Nord encompasses everything in Quebec north of Saguenay, as well as Labrador. If it weren't like that, Quebec would be empire sized. I don't think a split like that is really needed for Ontario.

Either way, eliminating Aurora would just give Ontario de jure claims on its north.

Has anyone ever brought up introducing an event to choose sectarian traits for Cetics and Occultists, like Sagrado Corazon? They have one, don't they? When I play in Mexico I typically play as a Mesoamerican. Anyway, I just often see Occultists and Cetics without any religious traits at all, and it's impossible for one's descendants to follow any other sect than the one you yourself follow

I think Cetic traits can be changed through education. I'm not sure about the Occultists.

Speaking of Ontario, why is it split between two de jure kingdoms? De jure Quebec is massive now, but Ontario is fairly small. I think Aurora ought to be taken out and its duchies given to Ontario (though the actual rulers should still remain independent).

I did the math.
Ontario
Duchies: 6
Counties: 24
Baronies: 99

Aurora
Duchies: 4
Counties: 17
Baronies: 48

Quebec
Duchies:10
Counties:39
Baronies:138

Cote-Nord
Duchies:4
Counties:14
Baronies:38

Judging by the baronies I'd say Ontario is not too much weaker than Quebec, but it is significantly weaker.
My proposal is that the duchy of home be added to Ontario to make it stronger, also it looks weird without it.
Then we would give the duchy of northern quebec (rename it) to aurora
Then we would give the duchy of saguenay to cote-nord
That way the (duchy/county/barony) count for each would be more balanced, it would be
Quebec (8/31/118)
Ontario (7/28/110)
Aurora (4/18/47)
Cote-Nord(5/17/48)

This proposal looks fairly nice, makes the kingdoms on more equal footing (Quebec with Ontario) and (Cote-Nord with Aurora), all without changing the de-jure empire of canada's boundaries.

I'm not entirely sure that Northern Quebec should be given to Aurora, but the rest of that looks good, and it should make Ontario slightly more powerful without making it overpowered.

If you dont have the african portraits switched, it seems to use the new DLC east african portraits, which are much nicer.

Just put my first 200 hours into the mod and I'm loving it! I can't believe the amount of work the mod team has put in.

I'm currently playing a revelationist game, and I've noticed that the dancing with snakes event doesn't trigger after the religion has been reformed. Might be a bug unless I've just been really unlucky, or if it's intentional.

I think the East African portraits need to be properly incorporated into the mod. They look too nice to not use.

Is there any way to add something similar to the Imperial Reconquest CB for characters that have managed to re-unite the USA? Waiting for the "recently fought a holy war" modifier is getting kind of annoying.

I just thought I'd let the mod team know there's a slight problem in regards to the religious titles that can be held by a secular ruler, or at least the one for the Reformed Occultist faith. I decided to get ahold of it myself and it locked me out of most of the succession laws, at least for the succession type. For some reason the government flavor text is "Anarchy" while I hold it and the only way I could fix this was to either give the title away or destroy it. This means you can't really hold the titles (or at least that one) for multiple generations unless you plan to only ever change gender laws or are willing to take a prestige hit every time you need to change the inheritance type.

You're not supposed to be able to hold that title as a secular ruler. The solution would probably be to make it impossible to acquire, not make it functional if you do manage to get it.

It looks like all the reformed pagan heads were just copied from the Fylkirate. I think changing it (and d_revelationist_reformed) to something like this should work:

Code:
d_occultist_reformed = {
   color={ 60 120 100 }
   color2={ 220 220 0 }

   capital = 69 # Boston

   title = "SUPREME_GRAND_MASTER"
   title_female = "SUPREME_GRAND_MISTRESS"
   foa = "SUPREME_GRAND_MASTER_FOA"

   short_name = yes

   # Always exists
   landless = yes

   # Controls a religion
   controls_religion = occultist_reformed

   religion = occultist_reformed

   # Cannot be held as a secondary title
   primary = yes

   dynasty_title_names = no # Will not be named "Seljuk", etc.
}

(I'm sober this time) I looked it up, and Blackbeard's title during the Nassau Republic was 'magistrate' perhaps that could be used as a mayoral title. I also want to know if Madagascar could be added to the game as some kind of pirate valinor. Liberteria was the name of a pirate community in St.Marie off the coast of Madagascar back in the 17th century. One of the most successful pirates of all time Henry Avery (aka Henry Every aka Benjamin Bridgemen aka Long Ben aka the king of pirates aka the arch pirate two of those would make good nicknames) settled for a time on the island during his days in the Indian Ocean
