Also I'm wondering how you're supposed to get up to 50 moral authority with the Rust Cultists, as well as if they have a defensive bonus against non-pagans or not. As far as I can tell you can't holy war or anything that would raise moral authority so only way would be to get all 5 holy sites.

Win conquest wars, defeat holy wars, donate stuff you scavenge to the Adeptus Mechanicus Cult of Rust.

If you guys are doing the Pacific Northwest, you could create more native cultures-like the Shoshone or the Haida. They would have their own religion in the Native group, centering around whale hunting.

If you're going to have the Haida as the dominant power, I recommend also having the Lummi as one of the few powers able to stand a chance against the Haida. According to tradition, they actually managed to defeat a major Haida raiding fleet, which ended up driving the Haida out for a while. That, and the modern Lummi reservation is actually located on territory that the Lummi conquered, rather than their home territory of the San Juan Islands.

I want to use the concepts of Rust Cultists and Americanists in a story I'm writing, and given you're essentially the only people I've seen use it, can I get permission? I mean I don't have to because it's a mod but I wanted to make sure it was cool.

And Thelemic.

Has anyone had the problem of the github version crashing when resigning or loading savegames? If no one else has it I suspect I may have modded in some duplicate IDs.

We've noticed this issue as well, and are currently investigating the problem. I haven't personally seen a crash on resigning, but it sounds connected to whatever's causing the occasional crash when you go back to the menu from the era select screen/exit out of custom game setup.

I was looking for the cause of the load game crash in the Crisis of the Confederation mod as well; it's apparently caused by setting the start date at defines.txt to anything beyond the vanilla end date ( even if your end date is different from vanilla ). Anything lower than 1453 works, even 1.1.1. It only crashes with ToG and/or CM enabled, so I guess it's related to vanilla's early start dates.

As far as i can tell this mod has had that set to 2666 long before this load game bug started, so i don't think that's it in this case. Thanks for the help though, i hope this gets resolved soon. Can't find any way to load saved games now :(

I'd just love to be able to play the recent version consistently with a friend of mine in multiplayer. It would suck if we were unable to play around in California or other areas when they eventually come out.
