Has anyone found a solution for the bug where the game freezes after some time of playing? Not certain which year it was for me because I didn't play the mod in a while after it started freezing...
I have them as Tribal. Starting in Jicarilla (as it's Arizona, but not immediately in Flagstaff, the eventual capital). The roadblock I've run into is porting GoT's slavery system over, as it's a bit intense and I don't want to miss something. and mistakenly fuck up the game. As it is, I think Tribal represents the Legion well, with large amounts of light infantry and the Tribal Warriors decision allowing for big armies so long as you keep prestige up -- if I coudl get the slavery system ported, it'd be even better. Something else I'd like to change is to add a Legion CB or make it so that the Cult of Mars does not suffer from Holy War cooldowns, in order to better represent the lust for conquest, but also the way that Caesar could get over-extended. I've gotten all of the titles to show up properly. Cult of Mars Emperors are "Caesars." Cult of Mars Kings are "Legates." Cult of Mars Dukes are "Dux." and Cult of Mars Counts are "Centurions." I'm thinking of changing the last one, and simply making the "Commander" and "Marshal" titles Centurions. But then I'd need a replacement for "Count."
IDK, I always pictured them as a Nomadic people erasing the identity of people and assimilating them into an ever moving mega-tribe.
If it's the birthplace of the religion, it's an important province. I mean, that's the only reason much of anyone cares about Bethlehem.I would prefer the Mexican Pope being the Bishop of Mexico City or some important Mexican province, and not some random province that might be dirt poor.

(No offense to people from the Bethlehem region—I'm sure there are a lot of other attractions, but Jesus is the only reason billions of people worldwide know where and what Bethlehem is.)
The President of the Mormon Church is a vassal of the King of Deseret. Is there a reason the ruler of Deseret is just a King/Queen instead of a President, Presiding Patriarch, Prophet, Seer, Revelator, or anything else from mormon tradition?

In genera (not just this mod), for finding a spouse when you have very few coreligionists, I've found that the present debutante decision can be helpful. It costs a bit of gold, but you should get a decent spouse.
Generally a great little fix-up. I feel that the new rust cultist one is too realistic as opposed to iconic though, and the background radiance for Sagrada Corazón isn't really as divine looking as previously; it's just grey. I'd have put Rastafarian and maybe Afro-Syncretic on the list of ones needing a facelift too. Everything else is a great improvement over its predecessor, though the oshe looks too matte for my tastes and I feel that an Eleggua head might actually fit better for Santería in general. Chango is/was the king but Eleggua/Legba is normally seen as the most important god for mortal worshippers, since he's the one people always need to interact with to interact with any form of divinity, and he's quite important within the Orishas by any metric. Shangó is more of a Thor figure despite being the patron of kings, and the Odin would be Obatalá. Nonetheless, Eleggua would be the common face of the religion to most practitioners in modern times and, I would think, onward. Crusader Kings may focus more on war and rulership than on mysticism and medicine, but Santería doesn't, and even in CK2, the Learning stat doesn't really either. Also not sure if there are religious connotations to removing the circle from the LDS image, but I'll let actual Mormons speak on that. Definitely a great facelift overall though and an improvement to the aesthetic of the game, some of the old icons definitely lacked the professional look that your new stuff brings.By the way, since some people were wondering about the new religion icons, I was the guy who made them. Here's a comparison image, up old, down new:

I just remade the ones that seemed like needing an overhaul ( For example, the Ursuline, Cetic, Gaian, the whole Mesoamerican group and a couple others were already excellently done and I didn't think they needed a rework ). I also made icons for those religions lacking them ( Santería, Candomblé. Confederated ), icons for the new religions ( Gracia Divina and Espiritista ), and reformed religion icons for the Pagan religions ( Revelationist, Rust Cultist, Occultist and Thelemic ).
I can see what you mean. But then you have to deal with the "Clans" gimmick. And you have to deal with the fact that you can't have any fortified holdings. Which is very much NOT what the Legion is about. Flagstaff is a fortified capital with an arena and probably a temple of Mars and everything. The Legion follows a single charismatic leader -- Caesar. And after him, Lanius.
And they aren't an ever-moving mega-tribe. The goal is to make Vegas the New Rome and move on. Unfortunately, Vegas is a shit county with few holdings. Flagstaff and Fort Defiance and Salt Lake City are all better.

As a Mormon myself, I can tell you that there's nothing inherently sacred about the statues of the Angel Moroni. I mean, yes, if you were to vandalize one, people would get upset, but that's because they're typically found on top of temples (which are considered sacred) and are dang expensive. In fact, the LDS Church doesn't really have official iconography of any sort. Moroni simply serves as a convenient and almost instantly recognizable placeholder, for lack of a better term.Don't think there's any actual theological connotations. Most images of statues of the Angel Moroni I found out there lack the circle.
Maybe the clans could be sub legions under Legates, while the raining Ceaser gains masive relations boon.
Well they are erasing the identities of conquered tribes and forcing them to migrate twoards their next goal, that is represented very well by the raizing mechanic. While I wouldn't be planing to conquer Vegas, we could be looking to conquer either Washington and gain some bonuses to religion or go to Sacremento gaining other type of bonuses.
EVTDESC_santeria_epidemic;There is no denying it - you have been struck by the same disease that troubles so many around you. Normally you would have your servant find one of the santeros to tend to you, but the santeros are very busy tending to all the ill. The last one you met even grumbled about some herb shortages, but perhaps a small donation could help with that?;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
EVTOPTA_santeria_epidemic;Yes, see to it that they have everything they need!;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
EVTOPTB_santeria_epidemic;Times are hard on everyone, their usual fee will have to do.;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
EVTDESC_santeria_epidemic_priest;Finally, your servants have found a santero willing to come to you immediately. As he rushes through the usual rituals, you try to hold on to the concentration that will allow you to ask for the help of the orichas.;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
EVTOPTA_santeria_epidemic_priest;I can only hope this ceremony will suffice.;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
EVTDESC_santeria_epidemic_no_priest;None of your servants have returned with a santero. The one that actually found one was told to leave the holy man in no uncertain terms.;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
EVTOPTA_santeria_epidemic_no_priest;Fine, see to it that they have the money to purchase herbs for everyone.;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
EVTOPTB_santeria_epidemic_no_priest;I do not need them. I'm already feeling better, anyway!;;;;;;;;;;;;;x
I've added an event chain for epidemic diseases. It works mostly the same as the one for other illnesses, except that you'll have to pay a higher cost for the priests or risk that they don't come at all. File attached, localisation below (I can't upload .csv files, apparently)
No. It only affects character traits.Does this also affect the number of levied soldiers a ruler can raise when his county is infected?
