As a real-life Lutheran, looking at our traditional "power base" in the Mississippi Delta/Midwest and seeing it is largely Catholic now I'm wondering if we reunited with the mother church or joined the Anglicans in helping form the Evangelicals.

No, but the thread gave the inspiration for this mod. That's not really connected to the mod. Though it might have offered some ideas, the thread is older than CK2 itself.
It's a majesty 2 ogre.Your avatar... I have never seen one of them before? What is it?

Perhaps it would help to think of the 2666 start date as more similar to the original vanilla 1066 start date than any of the DLC start dates. More than six centuries have passed since "the event", giving plenty of time to rebuild....snip...

I agree with Braydonmire, but just wanted to point out that the Anglicans didn't help form the Evangelicals. They turned their back on them and become the High Church (which is considered a heresy of Evangelicalism).I don't think there was a really organized "joining" with any group. Some probably turned back to Catholic when the Papacy was formed in New Rome. Some maybe moved to the HCC and became Evangelical.

Most mountain, desert, and and cold northern areas are already tribal to represent the reduced development from agriculturally poor land. If we added another start date in 2500 or earlier, a lot more of the world would probably be tribal.
In any case, more unstable governments would certainly make the world a lot more interesting.Perhaps it would help to think of the 2666 start date as more similar to the original vanilla 1066 start date than any of the DLC start dates. In many ways, a feudal/tribal warlord is not that different from a pirate (especially raiders like the Norse and Haida). Low grade piracy probably exists in most areas (not as game mechanics beyond random merchant republic events), but it is only represented as having total control in the few small Brethren outposts.
Only if that king/emperor is the High Fabricator or the High Fabricator is that king/emperor's vassal, I'd think. When a Rust Cultist kingdom or Empire is formed and a leader has sufficient prestige, they could also vassalize them vi event.
I'm not sure where I got it from (might have been the earlier post-apoc America mod?), but I've always thought of it as the High Meridian Age. I suppose 'Postdiluvian' ('after the flood') would fit as well. What is the period covered by the mod known as by future historians/trait description writers?
i.e. CK2 is set in the 'Middle Ages'
I don't think we've thought of a term for it that's universal across all cultures. What is the period covered by the mod known as by future historians/trait description writers?
I'm sitting here imagining Lutheran's as being a heresy that follows both the Bible and teachings of their founder, Martin Luther King Jr.As a real-life Lutheran, looking at our traditional "power base" in the Mississippi Delta/Midwest and seeing it is largely Catholic now I'm wondering if we reunited with the mother church or joined the Anglicans in helping form the Evangelicals.

Quite interested to know if the devs have a name they use themselves.

The Mictlantecs refer to the current period as the "Sixth Age" or the "Age of the Dead Sun".
It's possible Catholics would use a direct Latin translation of "After the End"... Post Finem or something? It's been like 10 years since I took Latin.
