Hello, though I haven't participated much in this thread I've played this mod since it only had Western USA and I've enjoyed it a lot. I have four curiosities related to things that don't seem realistic or that shouldn't be the way they are:
1. Why are so many of the Native Religions reformed? They come the closest to vanilla paganism and their reformations seem unrealistic as there is no unified presence of theirs on the map, nor any evidence that one used to exist.
2. Why is there so much Feudalism on the map? Since this is a world that suffered so much in the unnamed cataclysm that any semblance of order of the old world is gone and the more extreme environments have been left deserted(like most of Canada, the Basin, and the Mountainous areas) I imagine Feudalism would be the closest thing to actual civilization which should really be reserved to the more populated and advanced areas of America such as the Far East and West of the continent, Utah, Texas and Louisiana, Central Mexico and some areas of the Caribbean. Tribalism should be far more common in the Mountains(to represent a lower population if anything), Central America, the Aztec pagan controlled areas and maybe the smaller island of the Caribbean as well. Nomadic should be present for most of the native realms as well as most of Central America.
3. Why are the Caribbean Islands so united? Considering the close communities in the Bible belt and Utah as well as the cultural and religious melting pot that is California, I imagine it would be realistic for those areas to be united under one political entity but what is the reasoning behind having a united Caribbean Empire. The whole area looks like it could benefit from an overhaul. Perhaps Portia Bustamante could be represented as a conqueror/unifier by giving her a strong starting position and CBs but making her the sole ruler of such a diverse area from the beginning seem an unrealistic situation that comes at the cost of representing more factions, which leads to my final question.
4. Why are there so few pirate realms on the map? In an apocalyptic future(or rather it's result) piracy would have to be a lot more common, especially in areas like the Caribbean. The existence of pirates in the real world was primarily fueled by weak and divided realms that ended up being easy targets, poverty combined with military power and societies with primitive ideas a lack of concern for the well being of their neighbours, things quite common in the mod.
Love your mod and looking forward to future versions.
