I would also like to suggest consumerist cities to be called "Mints"
and a consumerist government, (you can suggest a name in your reply, if you reply.)
The consumerist government would give you 10% more base tax, but you cannot gain piety through normal means.
and consumerist religion's piety should give you the decision to "Rally Angry Mob" which will give you a 2500 man regiment which requires money to keep afloat.

Is this an intrigue decision or something? Formed the empire of Atlantica, not getting anything.

It's a separate mod that works in conjunction with After the End. AFAIK it was an attempt to fix crashing related to a lack of de jure empires for some territories but it adds an empire-level title that has de jure claims on everything within the continental historical U.S.

Edited: i can't spell. :(

There is a novorusskiy theocracy in New Mexico and I have no idea how it got there. They have about 9000 mercenaries and 1.9 million gold and I am just now declaring a holy war to see if I can knock them down a notch. This seems to be kind of a big bug. I assume it happened when the inevitably failed novorusskiy invasion inevitably failed and novoruskiy courtiers ended up in every atomicist court, eventually rising to the top of the succession in theocracies (makes sense, I have about 6 vassals that have exiled edokko as marshalls - they seem to have good stats and whatnot) Are there events for novorusskiy to receive free old world items and money? because it seems pretty crazy.
This bug should be fixed in the latest Github version. I planned to release a version 0.6.1 a few weeks ago after I fixed the Horse Lords crash, but I have so far failed to fix the crash.

Yeah, it's an intrigue decision with several cultural, religious, and realm requirements.

It will not even be visible unless you have a realm size of 100, christian/oldworld cultist/reformed pagan religion, and afro-anglo/north atlantic/south anglo/amerodeutsch culture groups.

To actually activate the decision you need an empire title, a realm size of 250, prestige of 2500, full control of the kingdom of Columbia plus another nearby kingdom, a big pile of gold, and some more requirements that depend on your religion (Americanists and Evangelicals get a special way to form it by being the President or controlling the HCC).

Looking at the title histories - who was Aggripine the Maid? And how the heck did she hold both the Papacy and the Ursuline See?
Personal theory behind it; the Ursuline's were nominally Catholic until Aggripine's time, when following a highly corrupt Papacy, Aggripine took control of the Papacy and tried to reform it. Cue a war between the Catholic's loyal to an Antipope against her in the former US and the Catholic's loyal to her in the former Quebec. At her death, the Antipope succeeded to the Papacy, but the succession was contested by the first Abbess-General in Quebec City, and the Catholic/Ursuline schism was formalised

First, I'd like to say thank you very much for creating this mod. This is a really impressive total conversion and is fast approaching the level of the Game of Thrones mod. I'm extremely impressed and have been having a ton of fun with it.

I noticed a few things in my playthrough that I'd like to bring to the attention of the mod creators. It's a mixture of suggestions and things that I think are bugs, though I didn't discover anything game-breaking. It's biased towards issues encountered in the PNW region and with the Gaian faith, since that's what my playthrough centered around. I apologize if these have been fixed or are being worked on already.

  1. I can't figure out why Livermore is a Gaian holy site. It makes perfect sense as an atomicist holy site, but the other Gaian sites are all centered around a natural wonder: Mt. Rainier, Crater Lake, Yellowstone/Old Faithful, and Havasu Falls. Why Livermore? It would make a lot more sense to me to make the Gaian holy site within California in Mariposa (Yosemite Valley) or Monterey (Big Sur) instead.
  2. The county in de jure Cascadia that contains Astoria and Warrenton is called Caltsop when it should be Clatsop.
  3. Later in the game, I started seeing characters with absurd amounts of gold, like this guy: http://i.imgur.com/crs02ZT.jpg These characters were all count-level and had feudal, tribal, theocratic, or bureaucratic government types. No other level or government type had the issue. They almost all were male and had either Edokko culture or Shinto religion but never both (one was Female and Uahomche/Maya, but she was the only one not to fit the overall pattern). I would guess that some sort of event is firing repeatedly for these guys, because their nominal incomes are in the 0-4 gold/month range.
  4. All of my characters were Portlander/Gaian and I was limited to the Enatic, Enatic-Cognatic, and Absolute Cognatic gender laws throughout. Most of my vassals were also Portlander/Gaian but many/most of them used Agnatic, as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/VcArnPC.jpg.
  5. Some bizzare interactions on both sides of banking: As a banker, I repeatedly had characters take out a loan and then repay me within a week or less, essentially giving me small amounts of free money. As a borrower, one of my Emperors took out a 1000 gold loan and died before he was able to repay it. His daughter kept the "Owes Money" debuff but did not have the ability to repay the loan when enough money was saved (decision totally missing, but could not take out another loan either) and when the time on the loan expired no money was ever collected, again essentially giving me free money (some piety cost). I don't think either of these is intended.
  6. The de jure Empire of Cascadia looks like it was supposed to be implemented but something is wrong. Selecting any of its three kingdoms and looking at the de jure chain shows the top level title to be a barony with no flag called e_cascadia. According to the tooltips, it simultaneously already exists and has been destroyed (Schrödinger's empire?) as seen here (three images): http://imgur.com/mtb2qZy,NB4FVOU,Hzgq2Ih#0
  7. The Gaian religion tooltip says that priests can inherit titles, but consistently in my playthrough making someone a druid disqualified them from elective succession. I don't know if it is an issue with elective succession specifically or an issue with the religion in general.
Thanks again for making such an amazing mod. None of these issues ruined my game, and I definitely plan to do some more playthroughs in After the End, I just felt that it would be helpful to bring them up. I'm looking forward to how this project progresses!

I don't know if this is a vanilla thing or not since I've only been playing this mod for a while so sorry if this is a bit general but...

When I'm a feudal Americanist and I have an unreformed occultist tribal vassal, I can not revoke his county. It says the duchy law does not allow revocation but I am his de jure king and that kingdom does allow revocation. I am also his de jure duke but of course I can not see the ducal laws, I would assume the higher de jure title applies. I only have this problem with occultists so far, christian counts are revocable. Is it a tribal thing? Is it working as intended?

1. For some inexplicable reason, Horse Lords changed holy sites to be county based rather than holding based. Essentially, it now selects the first temple holding in the province rather than a holding specified in the titles file. The Gaian holy site you mention was intended to be the holding of Berkeley, and a lot of other holy sites were also changed for the worse.
3. A bug that should be fixed in the current Github version, related to the Pacific coast invasions.
6. Another bug that is fixed in the current Github version.

Probably because Nomads can destroy holdings, so imagine they destroyed Berkeley, how would any Gaian hold a city that no longer exists?

Or maybe it's just Paradox being Paradox.

As it stands currently, you can destroy the temple holding and the holy site cannot be held. After the change I had to fix a couple counties in After the End where there was no temple holding, and I probably didn't fix all of them.

Previously, many of our holy sites were cities or baronies and worked fine. The change was basically purely harmful to AtE with regards to holy site flavor.

Aside from the revocation problem I'm having (still can't revoke that title, stuck with an infidel vassal) I'm having another problem with my vassals. They are declaring war on each other for claims, even though I have high crown authority. A vassal king declared war on a vassal duke (both my direct vassals, both under de jure high authority crowns) pressing a claim for one of his own vassal dukes against that duchy. They shouldn't be able to do that when I have high crown authority in all relevant kingdoms and in the empire, right?

Depends, is the kingdom they are part of dejure part of whatever Empire you own? If it isn't the laws don't apply cause blah, then you're facing a vanilla issue. If it isn't that then it might be something went funky in the mod.

Oh crap, you're right. My empire is titular, so I guess that King is above the freaking law. I should never have granted that kingdom.

Two more things (a third and a fourth for me today, sorry):

1. Playing as an Americanist Emperor, that same vassal king switched his succession law from agnatic senority to enatic gavelkind. He had not been ruling for 10 years when he did this (no king since granting the kingdom has). In fact, he took the kingdom by force in a claim war, from someone else who took it by force as the result of faction demand, maybe those things have something to do with it. Either way, that can't be working right.

2. There appears to be a missing localization for becoming friends with someone of an alternate religion that you are sympathetic to. At least, I assume that's what it is; twice I got a blank message with a single button saying you made a friend and it pointed to my new occultist friend (both times guys from the courts of lesser vassals).

Again, I'm sorry if these are vanilla problems not related to the mod, but I've only played this mod since before horse lords so I can't be sure.

There was a discussion a few pages back about buildings, and it got me thinking: what would be the state of the Statue of Liberty? How long can it plausibly last without maintainance?

I don't remember any reference to the Statue of Liberty from Americanists. It seems like one of those icons that should endure even if the statue no longer physically exists, no?
