I posted a suggestion a the start of the year concerning the renaming, recolouring and "merging" of Colonial Nations:
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...ouring-and-merging-of-colonial-states.827405/

I am really happy to see the first suggestion being added to the game in 1.12, but just wanted to bring a reminder to the possibility of my other concerns:

-----------------------------------------

Please allow the recolouring of Colonial Nations after they were founded via the new Modify Tab.

Coming to my final point of "Merging" Colonial Nations.
This could simply be achieved, if you guys added a button in the diplomacy menu of your colonial nations that would read something like "Eclipse".
It would only be available, if you already are the overlord of another CN in this CNs Main Colonial Region.

Choosing this Option would detroy the CN and give all the Provinces back directly to you, giving you cores on Provinces they Cored etc.

These Provinces would go back to your other CN directly!

I hope you consider these changes!

Greetings,

I agree. Once I played as Spain and inherited Portugal. The colonial border gore was hard to stand. I had to deal with up to three colonial nations in one colonial region...
