Dear fellow forum users,
is it possible to get the old standard Crusader Kings screen back after I installed the AddOn Deus Vult? Please don't missunderstood me: I like some of the changes of the AddOn (for example some of these new coat of arms and duchies like Macedonia), but some - for example the personal screen of a person with spouse and so on - I just don't like. Some things, like the old borders of the coat of arms, I was able to change on my own, but in this case, I need some help!

You can't use the old 'personal screen' anymore in DV, since heirs are now shown at a different place and you now have friends and rivals and you can see who your ally is.

Maybe I just cancel the installation of DV and retain some contents like those new duchies, DV's events and stuff like that? Is that possible and if so, which data do I have to retain? Just the whole config-folder?

No, but thank you. :) I just want to go back to CK with regard to the look of the game, but I would like to keep the changes from DV, e. g. the events or the new duchies and so on. I just can't get used to the new look e. g. of the personal screen et cetera.

Edit: I don't care about the rival&ally-information and so on. I basically just wanna keep the duchies, that came with DV, and the events.

Well a lot of those events are tied to rivals and friends and require the character screen for them to function right.

Stuff like backgrounds, COAs, trait icons, etc can be changed, but you can't edit out the friend/rival stuff.

You could theoretically edit some of the stuff from DV and put it into a generic CK game, but you'd have to go through pretty much every event to make certain it doesn't have new things added in DV.
